Departing rwy 25 operating flight OG621 to KEF.
With Play from Jun-21 to Jun-25 when it became 9H-PEB for Play Europe.
On short finals for rwy 07 operating GetJet Airlines flight GJT86W from VNO.
With Airhub Airlines from Aug-21 to Dec-23 when it became LY-NOW for Getjet Airlines.
Landing lights at the east end of the airport runway. I used a manual Nikkor 300mm ED f1.4 telefoto, handheld thus the light reflection of the bulbs.
Soesterberg, 30 July 1984.
68-0533 of 512th Tactical Fighter Squadron 'Dragons' from Ramstein taking off at Soesterberg airbase in the Netherlands.
In the summer of '84 many USAFE units sent fighters to Soesterberg to train with the local F-15 Eagles of 32nd TFS. I saw F-16s from Hahn and Torrejon, F-4Es from Ramstein and Spangdahlem, F-15Cs from Bitburg, F-5Es from Alconbury and A-10s from Woodbridge/Bentwaters.

It's so rare to see this one outside of it's driveway, I didn't hesitate to pull over on the way home from work today to get fresh photos of it.
I started noticing this one on my way to work recently. It would appear to have changed hands fairly recently, it's last MOT expiring in February this year. I used to see it much closer to the city centre, so it's done well to survive at all.
Had a lush sunset on the return leg back up to EDI from TFS and got some 'arty' shots!
