Macro Mondays: Teddy Bear

Clare's teddy bear has been in the loft cupboard for many years but now he lives in our upstairs sitting room, re-purposed in her memory. He's just managed to get on to my computer desk....

HMM!

Ted, the Rough Coated Jack Russell Terrier, on guard duty outside of his home.

Sunrise on May 21, dedicated to my brother-in-law Ted (Peggy's husband) who is celebrating his birthday today. You are wished good health happiness and wealth!

Meet Ted, he's coming on 14 now and he's a scruffy old lad. But he is the happiest cat I've ever met. And he loves a fuss. I didn't have much time to get this shot, he was on the fence and I knew he would jump down for a cuddle.

Ted appreciation post ;)

don't worry, he's fine, barking fit about to commence

Talsarnau or Talsamau is a village and community in the Ardudwy area of Gwynedd in Wales. Its population was 525 in 2001, and had increased to 550 at the 2011 Census. The village of Talsarnau is situated on the A496 coastal road between Maentwrog and Harlech, close to the hamlets of Eisingrug and Llandecwyn.

Ted lives at "Revamp Reuse Upcycle" shop at Mogo on the NSW South Coast. Great shop to explore as with all Mogo. Unfortunately Mogo was quite badly affected by the fires but according to their FB posts this shop still seems to be going OK.

Amazingly, all the animals at Mogo zoo were protected from the fires by the workers.....still haven't been to the zoo yet, though. Hopefully soon if Victoria's unfortunate new Covid outbreak doesn't reach NSW.

This is one of the new Foxes at the BWC .

Bit of green fringing across his head but he looks cute anyway!

Ted sadly passed away last week, September 7, I had him for 14 years, his age was unknown, he was probably 3 to 4 years old when we adopted him, he lived a good life..

Here’s Ted sitting on a picnic table with the Steam Gallopers in the background.

Gallopers

The three-abreast Gallopers are Bressingham's centre piece. It is one of the finest to be seen anywhere. Built by Savages of Kings Lynn in 1897 and owned and operated by the Thurston family of Norfolk until 1934, the Gallopers later operated at Whitley Bay and ended up in Scotland before finding a home at Bressingham. The engine was originally built by Tidmans of Norwich but has been completely rebuilt at Bressingham. The organ - a Bruder-built, 48 keyless Chiappa - accompanies the Gallopers as they reach up to six revolutions per minute and swing out some 15 degrees.

The set came to Bressingham in 1967 and has been delighting young and old as the heart of the site ever since.

During the main season, The Gallopers operate every day, always bringing a smile to the faces of the young - and the young at heart!

We rescued and re-homed Ted who was too boisterous for his previous owners. Now he is with some good friends across in Bolton and enjoying holidays back here as often as possible.

A picture of the late Senator Edward Kennedy in the World Finantial Centre atrium, New York City. Always liked this man. Brother of John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, Edward Moore "Ted" Kennedy was an American politician who served as a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts for almost 47 years, from 1962 until his death in 2009

Wow.. first time I get to see this plane in the flesh… in a remote northern compacted gravel strip… CJF3.. Ile a La Crosse

Ted Smith flew the first Aerostar 600 in October 1967. It was a mid-wing cantilever monoplane powered by two wing-mounted Avco Lycoming piston engines, with a tricycle landing gear. It was fitted with luxury accommodation for six. Also produced, and the base of most of the subsequent models, was a version with turbocharged engines, the Aerostar 601.

During the time of production, the Aerostar held the speed record for fastest twin piston general aviation aircraft,[1] capable of cruise speeds from 220 kn (408 km/h) for the earliest 600 models to 261 kn (483 km/h) for the later 700 models. Light construction, low drag and high powered engines also contribute to fast climb rates.

Piper gobbled up Ted Smith....now it is called Piper 601P

Yes, we’ve had snow, and Ted couldn’t wait to see what it was like outside.

I had a visitor yesterday. We wore him out with a walk in the park first!

My dad was born in Calgary 104 years ago, yesterday. His father's name was Ted. Interesting coincidence to randomly stop at this spot to photograph the cloud.

Recently Ted arrived in our home. I was surprised (aside from the fact that he speaks) that he claims to come from Boston and to have a university degrees from MIT, Cambridge, Boston Univerity et. al.

I assume he just wanted to show off a little (the package he arrived in actually came from China) but anyways...

He diagnosed our son Prozac05 sick (probably influenza) and described extreme slacking to get better fast.
