Il Polesine si identifica con la provincia di Rovigo, zona situata tra il basso corso dei fiumi Adige e Po, ai quali la sua storia è legata in modo indissolubile.
Il Polesine è infatti terra d’acque, di paesaggi sognanti e di atmosfere infinite, straordinario palcoscenico naturale, dove l’acqua si muove maestosa, tra golene, isole sabbiose, e il Po, con il suo delta, arriva placido al mare attraverso un labirinto di acque e canneti, paradiso per una fauna variegata.

... is the flagshipstore by scripter Torgon Woodget, who is one of the oldest in the field within SL. The shop is located in the sky & does not only offer lots for races, but also has nice shop tools & more. It is my 1st attempt in landscaping after Sim Annwn Willows. Atm the place is still under construction, but feel free to look around & witness the changes :)
TEM2-232 of LTG Cargo crosses the Vistula, the longest river in Poland, with the container train TDS 142012 Sokółka - Sławków Euroterminal. The train is about to arrive at Warszawa Gdańska before continuing its journey southbound.
A couple of years ago, LTG Cargo, the national freight operator of Lithuania received two TEM2 locomotives of CTL, reportedly as a payment for repairing other locomotives of CTL in the VLRD works in Vilnius. This had allowed them to launch services in Poland, later expanding to the point where it now owns an Eurosprinter locomotive, aswell as three modernised M62M locomotives.
The flagship service of LTG in Poland is the container express service between Kaunas and Sławków, where a large transloading centre and a container terminal are located. The train has to first pass an unelectrified part of track between the border crossing Mockava/Trakiszki and Sokółka, where they usually change the locomotive to an electric one for the part of the journey towards Sławków.
Occasionally, the electric locomotive doesn't reach Sokółka just in time for the diesel train to arrive, but the service needs to continue. And so, it often is a necessity to haul the train with a diesel for the rest of the journey, which results in an almost comedic scene of a road switcher hauling a container express train for more than 500 kilometers across the country, just like here.
