On approach to RAF Valley from a training sortie is this Beechcraft T1 Texan ZM326 of 4 Flying Training School.

The walk from Madrid-Barajas T1 to the Metro station. If, for no other reason, than to add colour to my photostream.
Eerder deze maand maakte de Wismar van de Museum Buurtspoorweg (MBS) uit Haaksbergen wel een hele bijzondere reis. De schitterend in de oorspronkelijke uitvoering als T1 van de Kleinbahn Delmenhorst Harpstedt gerestaureerde railbus was ter gelegenheid van het afscheid van een medewerker van de BE naar de Bentheimer Eisenbahn overgebracht. Hier heeft dit type motorwagen in de jaren vijftig en zestig ook de reizigersdienst uitgevoerd, dus was het een nostalgisch weerzien. Bij Veldhausen wordt opnieuw een agrariër ontmoet, ditmaal onderweg met ene flinke lading hooibalen.
Op de terugweg wordt nog een uitstapje gemaakt over de sinds juli vorig jaar niet meer gebruikte aansluiting naar de olieterminal Osterwald. Op het moment wordt de lijn nog in redelijke conditie gehouden.
Reading and Northern T1 #2102 roars northbound past the former Reading Railroad depot at Tamaqua, PA, hauling 50 empty coal hoppers from North Reading to Jim Thorpe. The engine looks quite at home here being of obvious Reading Railroad heritage.

While driving on Highway 12, somewhere between Capitol Reef NP and Kodachrome Basin State Park, USA, I checked the rearview mirror and saw this scene that reminded me somehow of a roller coaster.

Scottish Aviation Bulldog T1 primary trainer XX654, on display in the Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford, was one of 132 aircraft delivered from February 1972. This aircraft logged more than 7,400 flying hours before going into storage prior to delivery by road to the museum.
Behind the Bulldog is G-APAS, the 22nd Comet DH106 aircraft built at Hatfield in Hertfordshire and the tenth Mark 1A aircraft.

Amper gadegeslagen door een visser passeert de T1 de brug over de Lee, een zijriviertje van de Overijsselsche Vecht (!).
