Most of the trumpeter swans in our area are on their migratory move. But a lot of them do not go out of the state of Minnesota for the winter if they can find open water a fact that may signify undeveloped brain matter. These beautiful birds can weigh up to 20 pounds, stand 3 feet in height and have a 6-7 foot wingspan.
These two pelicans flew overhead perfectly in sync. Seen at Malibu Lagoon. These guys were surely heading out for a meal !

Multiple lightning strikes above one of Australia's famous icons the Sydney Opera House.
This shot is one of my favourites because it is so difficult to get lightning during daylight or sunset light. I took about 300 pictures to get 5 frames with strikes in them.

When people are in sync, they mirror each others movements and postures. The sun and the subtle fragrant smell of cherry blossoms no doubt contributed to the mirroring of these two people enjoying a moment on the grass.
This is a shot from an amazing sunrise over Nobby's Beach. I like how the ocean is melding into the sky, almost symmetrical and pastel like, with two focal points leading into the lighthouse.
Very happy with this shot, and the film version looks even better! Just bought a film scanner online so should be showing some shots from my linhof technorama soon!

Today was my oldest son's seventh birthday (on the right, with his best friend), and he had his party at a bowling alley. The blacklight made for a perfect time for my first experiments with slow-sync flash! (Comments and criticisms welcome!)
