Thank God the symptoms of my Covid-19 are on their detour...

During this very panoramic and hilly walk you walk through meadows up to the hamlet of Kosberg. Then you walk through the forest to the hamlet of Landsrade. Then you walk through meadows towards Gulpen and then you arrive in the hamlet of Dal Bissen. The way back goes through meadows to the hamlet of Schweiberg and a nice path takes you back to Epen. This route often runs through meadows with beautiful views of the hills of South Limburg. There are plenty of benches along the way. At the end is a beautiful terrace. You can shorten the route to 7 km.
Tijdens deze zeer panoramische en heuvelachtige wandeling wandelt u door weilanden omhoog naar de buurtschap Kosberg. Dan loopt u verder door het bos naar het gehucht Landsrade. Vervolgens loopt u door weilanden richting Gulpen en dan komt u in de buurtschap Dal Bissen. De terugweg gaat door weilanden naar de buurtschap Schweiberg en via mooi pad komt u weer in Epen. Deze route loopt veel door weilanden met prachtige uitzichten op de heuvels van Zuid-Limburg. Er staan genoeg zitbanken onderweg. Aan het eind is een mooi terras. U kunt de route inkorten tot 7 km.

I'm getting beach photography withdrawal symptoms. Haven't been able to get to a beach since before Christmas. Had planned a bushwalk with a mate to Waterfall Beach, my "missing" Central Coast beach today but the weather dictated otherwise. We went from weeks of 30C+ to tops of 20C with incessant rain last 3 days.
This beach here is Birdie Beach, and the little island in the distance is Bird Island. The Bird Island Nature Reserve is a protected nature reserve located 1.4 kilometres off the coast. The island is no more than 260m long and rocky cliffs make access difficult by boat. Over twenty types of birds have been recorded on the island.
We didn't let the weather dampen our spirits, had a great workout and a couple of beers at the local brewery instead while planning future outings.

The entire plant is poisonous causing a variety of symptoms, including death in rare cases. The berries are especially poisonous. Young leaves and stems when properly cooked are edible and provide a good source of protein, fat and carbohydrate. Regional names for the plant include poke, poke sallet, poke salad, and pokeberry. The fruits are important food for mockingbirds, northern cardinals, and mourning doves. The name “phytolacca” means red dye plant.
У Європі ця рослина вирощується з 1615 року. Батьківщина лаконоса американського – східні райони Північної Америки та Бермудські острови. Сімейство (Phytolacca) включає 35 родів та близько 110 видів, в основному вони поширені в тропічних та субтропічних регіонах земної кулі. Для України лаконос американський – нова рослина.
Вся рослина (фітолака або багрина, лаконос) отруйна, викликаючи різні симптоми, включаючи смерть у поодиноких випадках. Недозрілі ягоди особливо отруйні. Молоде листя та стебла при правильному приготуванні їстівні і є гарним джерелом білка, жиру та вуглеводів. Регіональні назви poke, poke sallet, poke salad, and pokeberry. Плоди є важливою їжею для пересмішників, північних кардиналів та жалобних голубів. Назва "фітолакка" означає рослину червоного барвника, походить від грецького слова phyton — рослина та латинського lacca — червоний барвник (через темно-червоний сік плодів).

Технологія застосування стиглих плодів лаконоса американського (Phytolacca americana) для підфарбовування вин зводиться до вилучення антоціанових пігментів з ягід і додавання отриманого соку або настою в слабкі або бляклі червоні та рожеві вина для надання їм глибокого насиченого рубінового або темно-малинового кольору.
Екстракт вводять у малих дозах на етапі купажування або перед розливом вина, домагаючись потрібної інтенсивності фарбування без зміни смакового профілю напою. У промисловому виноробстві цей метод нині практично не використовується через суворі регламенти безпеки та контролю харчових добавок.
У фармакології США препарати із лаконосу застосовують для лікування деяких хвороб. Зокрема, як проносний, для поліпшення обміну речовин, а також для зовнішнього застосування при шкірних захворюваннях і ревматизмі. 40%-ву спиртову настойку з коріння лаконоса американського застосовують для лікування суглобів, при остеохондрозі, поліартриті.
Раніше фармацевтична промисловість СРСР випускала препарат Акофін, що містить настоянку коріння та листя лаконоса, який застосовувався для лікування радикулітів, люмбаго, прострілів. Настоянка кореня цієї рослини входила також до складу препарату для лікування горла Ехінор. Проте нині ці препарати вже не випускаються.
Народна назва американського pokebery – «іудейський плющ» або «іудейська трава» через темно-червоний, майже чорний сік його блискучих ягід. У старій народній традиції цей насичений колір асоціювався з біблійними оповідями про Юду.

The concept and idea of a postal service was written in to the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 8, Clause 7). It gives Congress the power "To establish Post Offices and post Roads."
While the post office is not as important as it once was, it's still one of the greatest achievements of government in general.
Because it is established in the Constitution (the word used was "shall," which makes it a requirement), it cannot simply be killed without an official amendment. Therefore, it is being slowly and systematically dismantled.

Sleep problems are almost always a big issue for those with symptoms of Lewy Body Dementia, and almost all Persons Living with Dementia (by the time they get to later stages). — just very early with LBD.

This art project began as a tool to cope with grief when losing another ability due to progress of dementia symptoms.
I remember this began with a tangle pattern, but do not find the pattern in my workbook, so i guess i created it out of my head.
Outlined this pattern 22Apr2018, … with teardrops when i realized that i was nearing the end of being able to use my “nevel” harp, because i was losing ability to tune the instrument. (Tremors symptom from vascular and Lewy Body Dementia symptoms). No longer able to use my Nevel Harp.
Bittersweet. With acquisition of iPad and digital tools i was able to add color 3yrs later, then maneuver the color with “Liquid” tools in ProCreate. No spilling !!!

Standing under a deliciously cold waterfall at the end of the hot hike to the Subway is definitely a key symptom of a bad case of waterfallaholism. But most of you already knew just how bad my case is.
When I'm 90 and full of creaks, I'll remember moments like these.

The photographs in my set, "Weed Flower Micros," may appear to be close-ups of regular-sized flowers – they are not!
These are micro (macro) photos of tiny little flowers which bloom on ordinary weeds.
How tiny? The largest weed flower in the set is only, when measured across its widest part from petal tip to petal tip, 3/4" in diameter!
Some of these miniscule flowers are so small that the entire blossom you are looking at is 1/4" in diameter…again that’s measuring from petal tip to petal tip across the widest part of the bloom!
The smallest part of a weed flower that I have managed to successfully shoot and achieve good detail in is a photo I made of a bud that measured LESS than 1/16" in diameter across its widest part! For a reference to its size I have also included a photo of that bud next to the head of an ordinary paper match, which dwarfs the bud.
I am delighting in discovering the beauty, complexity, and variety in something so small that it’s easily ignored or downright difficult to see with the naked eye.
And it’s an even greater delight to realize that this incredible beauty has been growing wild in my lawn, year after year, right under my un-seeing eyes as I’ve repeatedly mown them down with my lawn mower, never realizing the unseen beauty that I was trampling under my feet.
I hope you enjoy viewing these as much as I do. I have a lot of fun making them for us to look at!

I took this picture the day before my surgery as I knew I wouldn't be taking anything for a while - it is on the beach here in the village and taken just as the sun was setting. The hills of Donegal can be seen in the distance.

Hi all, just letting you know nothing's happened to me and I will be back uploading and checking out your photos soon. I've had the combination of a migraine and cold since I went to bed on Sunday, which has meant half the week in bed trying to sleep it off. Tim joined me in sickness yesterday with cold symptoms and a nasty cough, so we sat in the sunshine in the garden for a bit yesterday.
