a man dissolves into the fantasy he walks past — white shirt, white silence, captured in the breath between reflections and skin. the glass does not separate worlds here; it stitches them together with light, commerce, and the shadow of longing.

In Canto 21 of Inferno, Dante and Virgil witness the Malebranche – demonic enforcers who patrol the boiling pitch of corruption.
Their wings are torn contracts, their tridents like economic sanctions.
Here, evil isn't loud. It's procedural.

Non potendo disporre della terza dimensione, avevo pensato di non pubblicare qui questa immagine... Il progetto risale più o meno all'epoca in cui ho smesso di lavorare con intento creativo in ambito fotografico. Avrò fatto male?
“The Study of Sharp Things” is an intimate portrait of vulnerability through the language of contrast flesh against edge, stillness against danger, illumination against shadow. The figure sits in a gesture of quiet collapse, not defeated but in deep observation. The shard in her hand is not just a threat it is a mirror, a question, a relic. I was drawn to create this piece as a study in how we hold our own pain—how we examine it, cradle it, sometimes even find beauty in it. The muted tones and decayed setting are deliberate; they frame the human moment not as a cry for help, but as an act of radical awareness. This work is about interior stillness, and what we choose to hold onto when everything else has already fallen away.

Looks like a gateway into some fantasy realm, one of my favorite spots in BC.
This piece, titled “The Forgotten Children”, is a chilling exploration of lost innocence and the passage of time. The wall of eerie portraits captures unsettling depictions of children who seem trapped in an eternal, haunting state. Each child is portrayed with hollow eyes and vacant expressions, as if their souls have been stripped away, leaving behind only remnants of who they once were. The ornate, decayed frames further emphasize the sense of abandonment and history, as though these portraits have hung in a forgotten place for centuries, untouched yet holding dark secrets.
The muted, desaturated colors add to the overall gloom, creating a stark contrast between the delicacy of childhood and the horror of their distorted features. The atmosphere evokes a sense of discomfort, as if each child in the portraits is watching, waiting for something sinister to unfold. The gallery-like setting draws viewers into a world where past and present blur, leaving them to wonder about the tragic stories behind each haunting face.

This piece, titled “Duality Unveiled”, delves into the theme of internal conflict and the coexistence of beauty and terror within one being. The striking contrast between the serene human half and the grotesque, monstrous side represents the duality present in all of us—the delicate balance between our humanity and the darker forces we harbor beneath the surface.
The human side, with flawless skin and piercing blue eyes, radiates softness and vulnerability, while the demonic side is raw, vicious, and burning with rage. The crack down the center, illuminated with a fiery glow, symbolizes the fracture between these two extremes, a delicate yet powerful separation between light and darkness, order and chaos. This division creates an intense, almost electric tension that draws the viewer in, forcing them to confront the beauty and horror that lies within.

This piece is about spaces that remember.
Even the Birds Knew What Happened Here shows no people — just their echoes. The corridor is flooded with sunlight, but not peace. The blood trails are not fresh, but not old enough to be forgotten. And the birds — symbols of freedom, messengers of the divine — are panicked, caught in the light like ash in the air.
I wanted the viewer to feel two things at once: beauty and dread. This is the part of the story after the final scene — when nature reclaims a moment, and the building becomes a witness.
Not all ghosts look like people. Some are made of light and silence.

This piece, titled “The Veil Between Realms”, explores the concept of identity, illusion, and the fragile boundary between life and death. The eerie figure, draped in tattered robes, seems to exist in a liminal space, neither fully present nor absent. The mask held in one hand suggests the shedding of a false identity or the haunting reminder of a lost soul. The dim red light in the background heightens the sense of danger and foreboding, giving the scene a surreal, nightmarish quality.
The figure’s obscured face and long, stringy hair create a sense of mystery, as if they are hiding something far darker beneath the surface. The crumbling, gritty floor adds realism to the scene, grounding the viewer in a desolate, otherworldly space. There’s a deliberate tension between beauty and horror, life and death, with every shadow and fabric detail enhancing the unsettling mood.

“Exhale Me Softly” captures a moment not of speech, but of surrender. It is a portrait of the unsaid. The smoke here is not just atmospheric it’s tactile. A mouth frozen mid-exhale, lips slightly parted, not for seduction, but for release.
The piece asks the viewer:
What part of us escapes with every breath?
And what remains?
The subject’s expression is at once sensual and mournful, held in a space between presence and loss. This is not about death. It is about soft disappearances.

This piece represents the haunting remnants of a once-thriving metropolis, now completely overtaken by decay and desolation. The rusting car in the foreground, with its headlights still eerily glowing, suggests a frozen moment in time, as if the last remnants of human presence have long vanished. The towering buildings, now draped in vines and crumbling from neglect, stretch up into the misty skyline, emphasizing the enormity of the lost world. The cracked, waterlogged road and scattered debris speak to the relentless passage of time and nature’s gradual reclamation of the urban landscape. This artwork captures the quiet aftermath of a world where humanity has disappeared, leaving behind echoes of its former glory.
