this is one of the endles tunnels in the lost sugery of the Beelitz Heilstätten, the size of this building is just amazing, in the whole complex there was room for over 1000 people included the medical personal

With a fallen leaf soft bokeh.

Have to run out to the vet right after posting this... Ruffy is getting surgery today. Having some growths removed. Hopefully all will be ok!!!!!!! Her surgery isn't until after noonish, so I definitely need something to occupy my mind!!! I may be back today. Or not. Will have to see.

Something a little different today :) Thank you all for asking about my health. I'm feeling pretty well today. Went to my ENT doctor and will be having some minor surgery on January 5th. Also have to have a tube put into one of my ears. SEE!! I REALLY am a kid!! LOLOL!!! Will be round to visit soon. Promised my son I would make him some "glorified brownies" Yummy stuff!

Recipe for Glorified Brownies - preheat oven to 375 degrees

1 cup chopped pecans (I don't use them cause kid doesn't like them)

1 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips

2 cans Eagle Brand CONDENSED milk

2-3 teaspoons vanilla ( I use 3 cause I like it)

1 box, graham crackers. Take 3 of the long ones out...don't use them. Crush the graham crackers very well.

Mix all ingredients together. It will be so thick you will think you need Popeye arms.

Butter VERY WELL a 9x9 pan. Bake for about 20 - 30 mins. until golden brown and "set". They are oooey gooey good!

Eat and enjoy!! They are EXTREMELY rich!

fits much better after I read the instructions!

This mass emasculation was to find its ultimate repercussions in the youth revolt of the 1960's, when, tragically, millions of young heterosexual men took to the streets sporting blatantly girlie hairstyles. Today, they are reduced to costing risky hairplug surgery, weaves and orange syrups.

Peace and mercy of Allah and his blessing

A very modest idea

Medical errors, especially in minimally invasive surgery

We have heard and some of us have passed by or known to one

Especially in the cosmetic surgery we hear about more

The most important reasons that occur because of medical errors after God's will

Certificates are illegal or incompetent to give adequate

Or use the wrong tools and wrong way

You have heard it may not

But there has already occurred to some God enough and you are evil

Solutions to minimize them and executed, God willing

XXXO - M.I.A.

This sweetheart (Grandpup) had hip replacement surgery and is on the mend, she can’t come out of her kennel for good until Feb 1st, just in time for her to leave for HI. She’s doing very well.

Daphne had surgery today. That infection on her leg came back. The vet is not sure if it's an infection now. It may be a tumor. She wanted to send it in for a biopsy to see if her leg needs to be amputated. I can't put Daphne through that. I asked the vet to just to hold onto the sample for now. It's been such a roller coaster with her. She's seems to get better than all of a sudden she gets problems again. The biggest problem we have right now is getting her to leave the suture alone. I just know she's going to rip it out.

"I have no medical evidence to back me up, but something happened during the operation that staved off that infection. Something beyond science. Something perhaps from above..."

=========================

The old surgical lamp, the 2 tiled operating tables and the old side tables for medical instruments that were still standing here years ago and were a special highlight for photo shoots, have found their way out ... from whoever. Now, surgery is more and more like a skeleton.

Only the unique architecture is reminiscent of the days when it was still operated here.

Cirugía en Hospital Regional de Concepción

Inspired by the great Sir Charlie Chaplain's movie, 'Modern Times'. These medical techniques worked. No reason to change. No hand-washing or gloves required. As it should be.

Mittens donning her Elizabethan collar and showcasing her tattoo after her recent spaying. Oh my she is growing up too fast, I already miss my little miss Mittens!

She is finally getting used to the collar after four days. I give her some relief and remove it several times a day during feedings and shortly afterwards for grooming under very careful observation.

"When a female kitten is spayed, a small incision is made in her abdomen and her reproductive organs are removed. The incision is then closed with surgical glue or stitches. As the kitten grows, the scar becomes almost invisible as it stretches and thins. A veterinarian looking at an adult female cat cannot always tell if the tiny scar he sees on the cat's belly is a belly button, well-healed wound or the result of surgery for something other than spay. Before universal methods to indicate spaying has been done, vets had to anesthetize cats and open them up to see if they were intact. Ultrasounds and X-rays are not effective in determining if a cat has been spayed. The universal methods include ear-tipping, tattooing and microchipping. "(Sourcehttps://pets.thenest.com)

Shhhh

I'm performing surgery

Close your mouth, close your eyes

He has a ticking part

That may pop out

And cause someone surprise

Don't worry

There won't be much blood

It will be quick, he'll never know

That his ticking part

His missing part

Is something that has to go

Locals would gather at the surgeons house every time a patient was brought in... the bloodier the better! Carriage accidents and wild beast attacks were the crowd favourites as loss of limb was almost guaranteed!

A good time was had by all, except the patient... who mostly had a horrible time.

Dropped Moo off at the vet this morning for surgery. We'll see him again tomorrow morning.

Our fundraising campaign for the surgery ends in just a few days from now: igg.me/at/moo-needs-a-knee/x/447675

Lola was always in a state of false pregnancy and so complications came from that... turns out she wouldn 't be able to get babies anyway, so now she cann 't get sick of it anymore, it won 't come to emergency operation which would be much more risky. She 's got to wear this special pug t-shirt for not scratching her wounds. She 's a bit sedated from pain medication still on this picture. By now she doesn 't need that anymore and she 's more lively, but much resting still, also on my lap a lot... recovering well!

Abandoned hospital somewhere in Italy

Fed up with dirty hospitals.

Fed up with very very very long waiting lists.

Fed up with being stuck in accident and emergency for hours and hours.

Well no more thanks to DIY surgery for dummies :)

With amazing information and a free Stanley knife and doctors badge, do your surgery at home and beat those unbearable waiting times whilst the doctors stand around and chat.

You too with the help of a minor can perform amazing operations in the comfort of your own home just by following the step by step procedures.

No chloroform no worries just keep hitting the patient on the head with this book until they are unconscious and hack away.

Fun for the whole family.

Once you have finished volume one don't forget to buy volume two next month which tells you how to put your patients/parents organs back in.

Well here we go again, all I said to my daughter was I had a headache and look where it gets me.

She is so creative and the mind of a genius and all thanks to this wonderful book.

Now I only have to lay here until next month and she can put me back together, hoorah, still less waiting time than the NHS :)

DISCLAIMER! DO NOT TRY THIS YOURSELVES UNLESS YOU HAVE DONE 30 YEARS IN MED SCHOOL OR HAVE BOUGHT THIS BOOK FROM ALL GOOD BOOKSTORES.

THIS PICTURE HAS NO RESEMBLANCE TO ANYONE IN REAL LIFE APART FROM MYSELF AND MY DAUGHTER, SHE IS THE ONE WITH THE JUNIOR JUNIOR DOCTORS BADGE.

I have had this shot in mind for quite a while now and finally got round to it.

All the hospital equipment was bought from my local ASDA store which included.

►Pillows and Bedsheets

►sausages, mince, tomato ketchup and tomato puree

The doctors top was the spare one from my chef shots.

The surgical gloves and face mask where from EBAY.

The Stanley knife from my toolbox.

The book from my book collection.

The patients cap is actually the flash diffuser for my beauty dish.

This shot was setup in my kitchen with me lying on our dining table with white background paper on my background stand.

The main light was my Elemental 600 to camera left set to 1/4 power and with a beauty dish.

To light the backdrop I used my other Elemental 600 set to 1/2 power and my Nikon SB600 also set to 1/2 power and 50mm.

The kitchen window was to camera right which acted as a fill and also I used a silver reflector to camera left to bounce some of that natural light back into my face.

The flashes where fired off camera using my Yongnuo RF-602 trigger + receivers.

Thankyou for looking and don't forget to press 'L' on your keyboard for your ultimate surgical experience.

next difficult surgery.......

Four days after my gallbladder surgery, my daughter-in-law & my granddaughter dropped by with bananas & a second bouquet, this one featured apricot roses. So lovely! This was taken in the morning light in my computer room.

Update--Seven days post-op, I am mostly past pain & my incisions are healing well. Still a bit low-energy & have limitations on lifting. I understand full recovery is usually set at 6 weeks. I think my body is doing a great job!

My son immediately following open heart surgery to replace his RV-PA conduit. As a parent, there's not much that can prepare you for a sight like this. Thankfully, it was a complete success. He could even sit up later that evening, and was discharged from the hospital less than a week later. Such a brave guy.

Taken with a Canonet QL17 on Fuji Superia 200.

The rose was hand forged by my old boyfriend, Mike Mize. We argued and he could not sleep with the full moon blazing in the great picture window. He said he went down to his forge and worked on this piece for me. A love letter was with it, like a mad woman I threw it away. Blah blah blah. It started with “My love for you will last as long as this rose.” He was killed in a car accident April 9, 2000. Drunk Driving landed him in a creek at about 3-4 AM. So tragic, he left a son in high school and a wife!! A Wife!!! He told me he was divorced but I found out that the papers were not filed. I was so angry over that I kept it to myself, she had breast cancer and passed away unnecessarily. She waited too long to get it checked and it was just awful. She started out with an alternative medicine quack and not a doctor. It still bothers me that people don’t understand that they have a responsibility to be here for their children at whatever cost. Her cancer was the kind that is genetic and she could have lived a full life with surgery and reconstruction. He didn’t have to go to a bar across a mountain and get stinking drunk. He was five miles from his family farm. The tow truck driver said that the cab of his truck smelled of whiskey so strong that if you lit a match it would catch fire. So unnecessary and irresponsible. I’m by no means a saint, I know that life happens and it’s hard, full of unpleasantries, and you can’t always get want you want. To quote Mick Jagger. Thank you for your time reading this poorly written note. Thank you for your visit, fave and comments. I’m very grateful for each one. 🙏☮️

New edit of unpublished HDR shot of one of the surgeries at Beelitz. Sadly vandalized and with lots of graffiti.

History of the place: Beelitz-Heilstätten west of Berlin, is an amazing complex of 60 abandoned and derelict hospital buildings. The oldest buildings are from 1898 drawn by architect Heino Schmieden.

The complex became a war hospital during WW1. In 1916 Adolf Hitler was recovering here after being shot in the leg in the Battle of the Somme.

After WW2 the hospital was occupied by Soviet forces. They left in 1995.

Inspiration struck this afternoon for the visual pun assignment for CWD. Here it is. I'm WAY too proud of myself.

"Plastic Surgery" staring me, my favorite bot-hacking knife, and a very upset Optimus Prime.

This is also my first shot for 52 weeks. See, Jams? I toldya I'd do it too!
