MFPA believes in Rehabilitation through their Art.
The partnership of the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists takes pride in not being a charity but a self-help organisation of seriously disabled artists, belonging to the worldwide Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists. Its members have all learned to draw and paint with the brush held in the mouth or between the toes as they lost the use of their hands.
Please no pity, but respect for their work, is the demand of the artists.
The formation of the Associations in 1956 gave all members the opportunity to completely support themselves through the sales of their paintings reproduced as cards, calendars and other items.
Their work is offered to you on artistic merit and value for money considering the way the designs have been painted. If the work is liked and one wish to purchase, then it will help them to gain the self - respect that comes from earning the living and finding financial independence for life and creative self - fulfilment.

This giant ferris - wheel installation is put together by Krsna Mehta along with two students from JJ School of Arts - Laxmi Narwekar & Prashant Keluskar.
This installation is inspired by Krsna Mehta & Bachi Karkaria's animated book on Mumbai, Mumbai Masti.
As Krsna Mehta puts it, If the world is your playground, then Mumbai is certainly a giant Ferris-Wheel. And one that carried everything around with it, as it goes around its axis doing its daily business. This installation is a playful take on the city thats truly cosmopolitan, in the way its celebrates diversity - of class caste colour, religion profession and everything else.
Its a city that revels in its chaos - that's why 'Mumbai Masti'.
'Shoe Stopper' - An instant hit with children and adults alike is the big black shoe. It is covered with with tiny ceramic slippers, sandals and shoes, which spectators happily plucked off and wandered away with before the minders realized what was happening. The exhibit is designed by a group called Clay Chakra.
Th other shoes around the boot include rat shaped onces on wheels to remind us that we are all rats in a race, a large boot in a dish a la Charlie Chaplin in 'The Gold Rush' and a vertiginous red stiletto with a rickety ladder at the back to climb into it, and a plunging in step - the higher you go, the greater the fall.

The Metropolitan city, a city which never sleeps. Mumbai with its vast cultures Languages, expanse, Heritage and its never ending, never say die sprit has a mesmerizing effect.
The pouring into this city seem to get so busy in their own world they seem to ignore the true sprit of that is Mumbai.
To sum up or to summon up the sprit into a visual the galloping sprit of Mumbai the symbolic use of Horse - which other can be more suitable?
The ultimate and trusted travel companion, the once life - line to many which also suggests the process of evolving with its motto ever so pure ever so clear.
