i was literally catching and soaking all the sunset colours possible during this 3+ minute exposure... i was hoping for some nice clouds to add to the mood but they have deserted me and i experimented with longer exposures to try to capture as much changing colour as possible to get a unique view of Kata Tjuta...

I've seen the Katama barn owl a few times recently, and last night I was able to get some decent photos of him. He flew right at me, about 10' above my head! I wasn't ready for the shot and it came out blurry - but he stayed around, hunting for his evening snack.
