The Yellow-rumped Warblers are winter visitors and I'm always glad to see them return!
They also have a popular nick-name many of you may already know ...Butter Butts ... which, while not very flattering is certainly a memorable one.
The ones in our area are the Myrtle Warblers, meaning the ones in the eastern states. Audubon's Warblers are found in the western states..
Regardless of what you call them, I love when they have their sunny side up!

I just about managed a very quick race around my nature reserve (the car park), this morning. Glad i did as the light was horrible this afternoon.
A Spotted rock-rose ~ Tuberaria guttata doing its upmost to give us a bit of colour.
