This is a tribute to my beautiful mother. It's been 24 years since you've been gone, but not a day goes by that I don't ever think of you. As I go through my days, I see you in the kitchen, smiling and fixing meals for the family. I see you and I just chatting about the boy I was in love with, and the courage that you gave me to tell him how I felt about him. I remember us walking to the park to play on the swings, ride the see-saw, and get dizzy on the merry-go-round.

I do wish that you were still here with us to celebrate Christmas, your favorite holiday. But not to worry mom, we got this and we will continue to make Christmas the most beautiful time of year.

I leave you this orange carnation, your favorite flower, I play for you your favorite Christmas song-"Oh Holy Night by uncle Willie K", and send you lots of Angel kisses and hugs.
