Named: "Istanbul".
Ordered as a B737-832 and built for Delta Airlines (as a B737-8HX), it was sold on delivery to the Aviation Capital Group and leased to SunExpress Airlines (Turkiye) as TC-SNE in Mar-08.
The lease was transferred to SunExpress Germany as D-ASXP in May-14. Sun Express Germany was jointly owned by the Lufthansa Group and SunExpress Turkiye. They made the decision to close down SunExpress Germany in Jun-20 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
This aircraft was withdrawn from service and stored at Antalya, Türkiye in Jul-20 and returned to SunExpress Turkiye. It was re-registered TC-SPA and returned to service in Jun-21. Current, updated 27-Jul-24.

SunExpress Boeing 737-85F(WL) TC-SUM is slowing down on runway 25R in Frankfurt.
c/n 28826 (l/n 238) has had its first flight on 19.03.99 with the test registration N1787B and was leased to Novair by GATX on 06.04.99 with the registration SE-DVR. It was leased to SunExpress on 08.04.04 with the current registration.
The jet is powered by 2x CFMI CFM56-7N26 turbofans and has a cabin layout with 189 Economy Class seats.
