First flown in Mar-19 with the Boeing test registration N1786B, just a couple of days before the Boeing 737 MAX's were grounded worldwide due to the sad loss of 2 aircraft a few months earlier. It was re-registered N56807 the following day.
The aircraft has been due for delivery to Air Lease Corporation and lease to Travel Service Airlines, Czechia. It was due to be operated by their subsidiary, SmartWings Airlines. The sale and lease were subsequently cancelled and the aircraft was stored at Boeing Field and later at Seattle-Everett.
It was later registered N57002 and even later as N6046P before it was sold to the Bank of Utah (as trustee) and leased to Flair Airlines, Canada as C-FLQF in Nov-22. It was stored at Marana, AZ, USA on delivery and never entered service. It was returned to the Bank of Utah as N981EC in Feb-23.
The aircraft was ferried to Norwich, UK at the end of Mar-23 and repainted before ferrying to Lleida, Spain for further storage in late Apr-23. It was sold to BBAM Babcock & Brown Aircraft Management as VP-CBX in late May-23.
In early Jun-23 the aircraft was leased to SunExpress Airlines as TC-SMF. It was repainted into a 'Crystal Palace FC' logojet livery in Mar-26. Current, updated 14-Sep-26.
