I have wanted to create a fashion blog for years to share my ideas and dispense unsolicited advice to strangers. On one hand I was nervous that my blog would come across narcissistic, and on the other I was concerned that it would be lame. But, I was mostly held back by my own laziness…..so I decided just to give it a try. Hope you like it!
So here are some informational facts about me: My name is Jacquie, named after Jackie O and for that I think I’m cool. I am shopaholic. “So big deal” you say… “what fashion lover isn’t a shopaholic”….well here’s the twist: I’m a financially strapped student struggling just trying to get by. Living in Halifax, Nova Scotia and putting myself through law school (oooh law, fancy), I have two major constraints: no money and no immediate access to Forever 21. I also don’t really like shopping online (although I still waste countless hours “looking” online). Shopping is a hobby and a form of physical exercise for me. As I learn to navigate my way through these pesky setbacks, I figured I might as well share what I’ve learned so far. It could be useless knowledge that you already knew….but it could be golden nuggets of information that help fill your mind and empty your wallet.
