Bought a vintage '60s Huguenin watch (34mm gilt case) as a test-run for a graduation present. I'm looking into finding a small, vintage gold dresswatch from a more prominent brand (Omega, IWC, etc) to celebrate my graduation - but needed to find out if the look suited me first.
Tried this as a bit of an in-joke. Vintage dresswatches worn on nylon military NATO straps is a bit of a thing on the styleblogs; this juxtaposition of styles annoys the crap out of purists. Trolling purists is fun.
Everything is thrifted except for the tights which are from Target :)
Wore this to my fashion class this morning. We were supposed to dress in our version of "retro". I liked the idea of doing the primary colors as my pallette.
