Mar 02, 2001; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Actress/model LAURA HARRING lived the first ten years of her life in Mexico, before her family relocated to San Antonio, Texas. At age 16 she convinced her family to let her study in Switzerland. Upon graduating she travelled though Asia before settling down in El Paso, Texas. It was there that she decided to enter the world of beauty pageants, which lead to her winning the Miss USA crown, becoming the first Latina to hold the title. Laura has spent time working as a social worker in India, and exploring Europe. It was in Europe that she was exposed to the world of nobility when she met and married Count Carl von Bismarck, earning the title of Countess. A title which she still holds. Although the marriage did not last, she and Carl remain friends, and Laura's popularity in Europe continues. Hmmm...in all the photos I took, this little guy only seems to tilt to the left. My guys tilt both ways so I'm not sure what that's all about. :-)

I have friends who are experts at the hand held point and shoot self portrait. I have never been able to do that well. So, I set up a full lighting system, extended the arm and took a chance.

One of the lithographs I'm working on this summer. It's done with water based tusche wash, on a light yellow stone. This photo shows the stone after it's been painted and allowed to cure. It's about ready to begin the etching process, which will sensitize the greasy ink layers to make them suitable for printing.
