I spotted this osprey sleeping in a tree. Waited for it to take off, and after it woke up, it made some moves that I thought were leading to flight, but turned out were just stretching. Oh, well, maybe another day!

Giving the tele-lens a bit of a work out, Colas 'Shed' 66847 hauls the 2.40pm Ribblehead - Chirk Kronospan logs (6V37) through a sunny Frodsham, one early summer's evening in 2014.

The line seemingly disappears beyond the end of the train, but in fact it tops out for the viaduct (which the train is crossing) over the River Weaver. The heat-haze from the exhaust is pretty evident.

Glacier National Park, wilderness area in Montana's Rocky Mountains, with glacier-carved peaks and valleys running to the Canadian border. It's crossed by the mountainous Going-to-the-Sun Road. The Highline Trail in Glacier NP is a scenic hiking trail stretching 7.6 miles from Logan Pass to Granite Park Chalet. The trail offers scenic views of glaciated U-shaped valleys. The start of the trail looks ominous but it’s a short section that opens to BEAUTIFUL OPEN PANORAMIC VIEWS! It is bears country, talk and make noise as you enter in the bears living rooms! Announce you are coming for visiting! But you almost forgot you were reaching bears’ room, the views of the mountains at sunset was so attractive, until you realized no other people around for couple of hours, the speed of returning back was super fast!

I never knew that limousines are just normal cars cut in half and extended! I’m gonna go build a Yugo stretch limousine.
