In the midst of life, remember, God will never abandon you. He will never forget you. He will never leave you. He understands the heartache brought on by evil. God is good. Jesus Christ is real-your present circumstances notwithstanding…I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble…

Jeremiah 31:9

A stream running through the forest on Sula just above kjellingset. Kjellingset has been inhabited by people for more than 1000 years with documentation of farming activities dating back to 1603. This river runs through the settlement and the stream was once the site of a water-mill.

Glad you stopped by, comments and criticisms are, as always, much appreciated.

Roadside stream in Wilmington,VT

This shot was taken from a bridge going across this little stream in Cattaloochie Valley, NC. I kinda like the way that stripped branch stands out going across the shot. I don't know why. Once again, the fall colors are awesome.

Aira Beck, which rises on the upper slopes of Stybarrow Dodd at a height of 720 metres (2,362 ft) and flows north-easterly before turning south, blocked by the high heather-covered slopes of Gowbarrow Fell. It turns south on its eight-kilometre journey to join Ullswater, at a height of 150 metres (492 ft). One kilometre before entering the lake, the beck makes the 20 metres (66 ft) leap down a rocky ravine at the falls known as Aira Force.

As calm as it may seem, this water flows down the majestic Multnomah Falls just 50 feet away from this point

Liz and I, at the suggestion of Angela and Nathan, stayed at a Naxi minority family household about an hour outside of Lijiang. It was wondefully calming and educating to see their household's resourcefulness and pleasant lifestyle. Probably the most enjoyable for me though, were the conversations with the son, Qiquan. We hope to travel again. Contact me if you are interested in staying there and I can put you in touch with them, I wholly recommend it.

I was streaming L'Immortelle (1963), directed by Alain Robbe-Grillet and I got this glitch. The photograph was taken with my phone.
