Decided to chase a storm near Lake Mendota in Middleton, Wisconsin. Took 10 snaps and got lucky with two exposures. Scary moment but rewarding. I came home with a broken umbrella and wet shoes.

Many thanks for views, faves and commends dear friends!.

Katherine, Northern Territory. Australia. Wet season in the NT. The night was almost completely black when not illuminated by the lightening.

Toruń is one of most attractive and historic towns in Poland.

It is famous for being the birthplace ( in 1474 ) of the Polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus whose epochal book, De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium is universally regarded as the starting point of modern astronomy.

In 1997 the old medieval quarter of Toruń comprising the Old Town ( 1233 ), the New Town ( 1264 ) and the Teutonic Knights Castle ( mid 13th c. ) was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for having preserved almost intact its original medieval street layout. Toruń is full of Gothic monuments of architecture, all built of brick, such as the Town Hall, The Leaning Tower, numerous churches and many burgher houses around the central market square and the surrounding streets.

If you ever are in Gdańsk on the coast, I recommend driving down to Toruń - it's only 2hrs away on the motorway - the place has a great artistic atmosphere and a lively cafe scene.

This was one of the heaviest thunders what i have experienced.

P.S. The only post-processed properties were levels, plus it was cropped from the original image. Simply the photos looked stunning straight from camera :-)

Severe Tropical Storm "Kammuri" was standing some 60 nautical miles south of Zhuhai. The strong ocean swell caused huge waves to crash against the seawall of the promenade on Lovers Avenue (情侣路).

What's usually a crowded place with couples strolling in the warm evening breeze was now nearly deserted. Just a few daring people were out and got wet.

And this is only a tropical storm - rest assured: when we had a genuine Typhoon it looked different and nobody would be here at all.

And no, the photo is not taken in Macau, though the buildings in the background are already in Macau.

Storm survivors indeed!

These are almost ready to bloom as all the others around the yard, Daffodils are very hardy and multiply like rabbits:-)

Have not lost one yet, they must be hundreds of them.

We got lucky with the storm thank God!

The storm was coming from inland hitting the ocean, it was like it hit a wall, it broke up, and then slowly reformed and then brought a storm. Have a blessed weekend, and remember God loves you!!

In keeping with the topic of clouds which we started yesterday, today it's going to be a gloomy picture of storm clouds over the North Sea and some dunes at the southern end of the island of Sylt. In fact, this is the view from the terrace of the holiday flat I usually stay in whenever I go there. When I arrived there last fall, those clouds made me grab my camera and take a few shots immediately, even before I unloaded the car, knowing the conditions are very changeable there.
