Consistency, persistency, and hope will help you navigate those dark clouds of doubt and tribulation. They will help keep you in flight through your storms.

When taking this photo the weather was really strange, it rained, snowed and then the sun would come out, you could feel the temperature fluctuating, made for a nice autumn/fall photo.
Toruń is one of most attractive and historic towns in Poland.
It is famous for being the birthplace ( in 1474 ) of the Polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus whose epochal book, De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium is universally regarded as the starting point of modern astronomy.
In 1997 the old medieval quarter of Toruń comprising the Old Town ( 1233 ), the New Town ( 1264 ) and the Teutonic Knights Castle ( mid 13th c. ) was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for having preserved almost intact its original medieval street layout. Toruń is full of Gothic monuments of architecture, all built of brick, such as the Town Hall, The Leaning Tower, numerous churches and many burgher houses around the central market square and the surrounding streets.
If you ever are in Gdańsk on the coast, I recommend driving down to Toruń - it's only 2hrs away on the motorway - the place has a great artistic atmosphere and a lively cafe scene.
Having started my afternoon walk in the sun, I wasn't expecting this huge storm cloud within half an hour! I managed to take shelter while the lightning and thunder rumbled around for over an hour!

Thank you for visiting and your kind comments, awards and faves - I appreciate them all.
Severe Tropical Storm "Kammuri" was standing some 60 nautical miles south of Zhuhai. The strong ocean swell caused huge waves to crash against the seawall of the promenade on Lovers Avenue (情侣路).
What's usually a crowded place with couples strolling in the warm evening breeze was now nearly deserted. Just a few daring people were out and got wet.
And this is only a tropical storm - rest assured: when we had a genuine Typhoon it looked different and nobody would be here at all.
Another "reactivated" archive shot.
And no, the photo is not taken in Macau, though the buildings in the background are already in Macau.
