Comparison living is a huge thief of joy. It's also seeks to steal our contentment with what God has already blessed us with!

It's very detrimental to you and I and yet it's promoted in our society as something to be sought after. We compare ourselves with one fad or fashion to another. One gadget to the next. One person's life and or ability to another's. Another's relationships with our own.

We compare ourselves to others often and yet God has called us only to be who we are and who we are in Christ! To compare ourselves to His standards and not this world's standards because God is our standard setter and bearer!

As for me, I can only be me... A follower of Christ who is growing in grace and hopefully growing daily in the wisdom and knowledge of Him. I can only do my part to do better at watering my relationships.

I also can't be any of the well known / big named ministers... I can only be who I am in Christ. I need only to water the grass, the ground He's planted me in and be faithful to do what He's called me to!

Same applies to you. You can only be who you are in Christ and seek after Him to direct your path. You can only do your part to do better to water the relationships you are a part of. You also need to stop comparing yourself to anyone and just be you as God is shaping you into His masterpiece day by day.

The truth is... Grass only grows green if it is watered and the soil cultivated. So water and cultivate my friend and as you do, I believe you will start to see the grass on your side grow healthier and greener!

We're all a work in progress and a product of grace...focus on who you are in Christ not on who you aren't or who someone else is! You are fearfully and wonderfully made!

God has Not short-changed you and in fact...He's at work "upgrading" you! :)

There is only one you and who you are and who you are becoming is who God already loves dearly and is at work transforming and renewing you!

So, embrace who you are now and who He's helping you become! You 2.0. :)

Walk in the confidence of your new life in Christ! You are no longer who you were and there is no need to compare yourself to other people!
