The tower of th Convent of the Franciscan Sisters of Maria Stern, which was built 1573 - 75 by the Renaissance master builder Johannes Holl, father of Elias Holl, was the first onion tower in Germany. The proliferation of baroque onion domes in Bavaria originated here.

Sternes pierregarin
Réserve ornithologique du Parc des Chantereines
La sterne pierregarin est un oiseau aussi élégant que bruyant. C'est une visiteuse d'été (avril à septembre). Dans la réserve ornithologique du Parc des Chantereines, plusieurs radeaux flottants ont été installés sur le lac des Tilliers pour la nidification des sternes (et autres oiseaux d'eau).
Le plan d'eau est clôturé et entouré de végétation, outre la roselière : 4 observatoires aménagés à différents endroits de la rive permettent d'apercevoir (et photographier) les oiseaux sans les déranger. Ces photos et vidéos sont prises au zoom.

ENG: The Victory Column on the Großer Stern in the Großer Tiergarten is one of Germany's most important national monuments and one of Berlin's most important sights. Built between 1864 and 1873 by Heinrich Strack on Königsplatz to commemorate the Wars of Unification, it was moved to its current location between 1938 and 1939 together with the monuments to Bismarck, Roon and Moltke. When it was inaugurated on 2 September 1873, Prussia had also defeated Austria and its German allies in the Austro-Prussian War (1866) and France in the Franco-Prussian War (1870-71), which gave the monument a new purpose. The addition of the 8.3 metre high bronze sculpture of the Roman goddess of victory Victoria, designed by Friedrich Drake, gave the Victory Column its current height of 67 metres. In the Berlin vernacular, she is also known as the "Goldelse".

That stern glare and its authoritarian stance is quite the opposite of those small expressive comical kinglets.
House sparrows are full-breasted bird with a round head and a stout bill. Breeding males have gray crowns, white cheeks, a black bib, and a chestnut neck. Females are a plain buffy-brown overall with dingy gray-brown underparts. Their backs are noticeably stripped with buff, black and brown.

Am Abend des 9. Juni 2019 pendelt der frühere "Extertaler" ET20.109 zwischen Lambach und Vorchdorf (hier bei Bad Wimsbach). Noch strahlt die Nebenbahn mit ihren Holzmasten und mit dem Einsatz älteren Fahrzeugmaterials echte Lokalbahnatmosphäre aus. Doch auch hier sollen Neubaufahrzeuge in wenigen Jahren das Zepter übernehmen.
