This is my dreamsicle at the Monroe County fair in Michigan (7-31-08). Just like Stephen Colbert, I have a Dreamsicle. Shaved ice dreamsicle. (But it does not taste good). I suggest you don't get one.

Jason on the left, killer bear in the middle and Andrew on the right. We picked this guy up last weekend while we trooped through the Shenandoah Forest; oh and the best Iced tea in the world is in Andrews hand, no really, it is; really.

We watched this bear swim in circles right in front of us for 15-20 minutes. Frankly, we were stunned at the clarity of our view. He swam right up to where we were, and then would turn, blowing bubbles out his nose, and circle back round. We were so fortunate to see him. He was quite beautiful..., and enormous!

Our daughter drew this last night, one of two she says are "the shows that daddy watches at night." Tell me this kid isn't observant. I'm thinking this is Stephen Colbert.
