This is two of my shots Combined. I shot the foreground at 18mm and the moon at 250mm and combined the two images.
Winter is very tough on me when it comes to photography. We don’t get a ton of snow so most of the woodlands are bare and a tad boring. So instead I try to use this time of year for trying new things in photography and try to be creative. Sunday night was one of those nights that are so special this time of year and was an absolute blast. I went to a local “haunted tunnel” and decided to try spinning some steel wool in a rig I built with LED lights attached. The result blew me away. I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I did making them. Big thanks to @bulletsnbirdies and @jessiepistachio for helping me with getting everything ready for the shoot and lighting the wool for me.

Day 222: Nice little evening down @ #EmleyMoor Transmitting Station capturing some #StarTrails 🌌 This is my first ever attempt & oh my did it take a while to load all the files into Photoshop 😅 but that's the boring part! Anchor Church in Derbyshire - Anchor Church is the name given to this series of caves in a Keuper Sandstone (Triassic conglomerate) outcrop, close to the village of Ingleby, Derbyshire, England. The caves have been extended by human intervention to form a crude dwelling place, complete with door and window holes. So we thought we'd spin some wool inside!!!!
The sandstone outcrop once formed part of the banks of the River Trent and the caves were formed by the action of the river on the rock. The course of the river has altered and left the caves opening onto a backwater pool.
