El steampunk fue, en sus inicios, un subgénero literario nacido dentro de la ciencia ficción especulativa que surgió durante la década de 1980 de la mano de escritores conocidos por sus trabajos ciberpunk.1 A día de hoy, este subgénero ha madurado hasta convertirse en un movimiento artístico y sociocultural y no tan solo literario.2 El steampunk se desenvuelve en una ambientación donde la tecnología a vapor sigue siendo la predominante y por lo general localizada en Inglaterra durante la época victoriana, donde no es extraño encontrar elementos comunes de la ciencia ficción o la fantasía.
Las obras de temática steampunk a menudo muestran tecnologías anacrónicas o invenciones futuristas imaginadas por los visionarios de su época, todas ellas vistas desde la perspectiva victoriana en la cultura, el arte, la moda e incluso la arquitectura.
El steampunk se inspira principalmente en los trabajos de H. G. I did separates images one for the forest and one for the figure in meta ai and combine them in photoshop.
Each tree was done seprate and each clocks and pipes was done seperate just to build up the forest
THe female was done with meta ai building her up with words to crete the final figure..
Worked with different layers and filter, Then bring back so of the colours on the pipe and the young lady. Lot of dodging and burning using levels, curves, different layer adjustments.

Steampunk is Victorian inspired science fiction, and these pressure dials from a water engine certainly fit the bill, having a Jules Verne or HG Wells feel about them.
So Hangars is my numero uno cyberpunk sim.
New Babbage and all of its sims is great for steampunk enthusiasts. Pretty old school, still sexy.
My final build I made for Brickworld Chicago 2026. It went in a very different direction than I'd originally planned, but it was fun combining the steampunk genre with some Asian influences.

Sunday afternoon, all a bit lazy. So what to do??? Whip out an old top hat, some steampunk goggles and the smoke machine, that's what! Cornered my oldest son, AJ, to be a model for a few minutes and this was the result.
Strobist info: One Godox AD 200 camera right in a 60cm square softbox with grid on. 2nd Godox AD200 directly behind subject in a small silver reflector to light up smoke. Both triggered by wireless remote.
