A sign on the side of the ice container with 12 oz plastic water bottles cold. They are free for the taking at the entrance to Mesquite Valley Growers in Tucson Arizona. It was very sunny and hot at about 2pm yesterday.
Unfortunately, they had no citron trees this year.

Water is essential for life. Even the smallest of creatures need a drink so I make sure to put out a dish of water on the "patio" for the critters and birds.

you may have noticed that today is day 244, so i am officially 2/3rds of the way through the "a duck a day" challenge i have set for myself. (they are not all slaine slim duckies.) because i really enjoy this, you'll probably see *lots* of ducky pictures today, unless i get task oriented on something i should be doing ~grin~
in an effort to show you things i 'discover', i give you the water bottle with built-in bluetooth speaker. have no clue if it works, but it comes in blue, red, and i think green ~grin~

H2O with frozen raspberries and mint leaves. This was a long time ago and my garden looks so different now. Yesterday was crazy hot and muggy and I just wanted something cold to drink, like lemonade. But I had no lemons and didn't want to go to the store. I had elderflower cordial, which is normally just diluted and drunk with water. It seemed too sweet to me so I added some homemade cider vinegar. The vinegar was made by accident when we were trying to make hard cider- one carboy worked, one became very mild vinegar. I thought it would be like a shrub. I was right. Can't wait to make some raspberry shrub at work with all the raspberries in the freezer. ;-) Y'all should try it too.
