Entrepreneurs and startup firms are at the center of U.S. economic growth. This panel will explore the economic conditions and consumer trends that drive this business climate, highlighting how entrepreneurs, incubators, governments, and venture capital firms work in concert to drive new startup activity. Hear lessons learned from foreign entrepreneurs who tapped these resources and found success in the United States.

The UK’s Department for International Trade, through its Global Entrepreneur Programme, organised the Startup Games on 23 March 2017 in Singapore. We had over 50 entrepreneurs pitched in front of top mentors and investors for virtual seed fund using our bespoke app. Keynote speakers include Alex Lin (SG Innovate), Chris Wade (Octopus Ventures), Frederic Lardieg (Octopus Ventures), Henry Goodwin (Octopus Ventures), Anne Marie Droste (Entrepreneur First), Jeffrey Tiong (Patsnap), Shobhit Shukla (NEAR), Jamal Hassim (SyQic) and Oswald Yeo (Glints).
We want to thank everyone who had participated in the Startup Games and we look forward to seeing you at our future events!

We headed to the Big Apple for a Tech Cocktail mixer & startup showcase. At New York City’s Center for Social Innovation, the latest and greatest batch of startups innovating out of New York had an opportunity to hop on stage and pitch their ideas before an excited and energetic crowd.
Startups that showcased: Circumrent, CommonKey, LookBooker, LumiFi, picsell, Rockerbox, SketchFactor, SocialRank.
