Hi there,

Don't you just hate it when you have a stack of envelopes to mail and there's only one stamp left? HMM!

Thanks a million for stopping by and for leaving a comment. Have a great week!

This stamp is used to making traditional bread (Slava cake) decoration for St. Nicholas Day, Serbian Orthodox Church.

The most important decoration of the Slava cake is a square-shaped seal (prosfornik seal) with a cross in the middle, among the arms of which is the inscription 'IS HS NI KA' (this inscription in Greek means "Jesus Christ wins").

There is a special wooden stamp for imprinting this sign (it is usually inherited from generation to generation and every house should have it.

This stamp at the photo is my and is 4x4cm in size.

In my first comment I will put a picture of the whole bread, so you can see what it looks like. Square-shaped seal is always in the midle of the Slava cake.

The same procedure every year. Two applications are required to fly a drone in Thailand. A kind of driving licence or personal licence from the CAAT and a specific drone licence from the NBTC. Both applications require a lot of paperwork, forms have to be filled out and uploaded, photos with serial numbers, entry documents, an insurance confirmation, a residence address. If all goes well, the application to the CAAT has already been approved before the trip and so the application can be submitted to the NBTC with the entry stamp on the day of arrival. Ideally, processing will take less than half a day and you will then be sent a transfer order. The fee is 224 baht including bank charges. In the end, you have two certificates that allow you to fly a drone legally. I wouldn't do it without the certificates, because if the worst comes to the worst, you are covered, especially in the event of an accident.

Macro Mondays: Stamp

I had bought these little tags and letter stamps a while ago from Dollarama and figured they would someday come in handy for a photo op. I am not a crafty person and my OCD is getting to me that the stamped words aren't spaced right; on the otherhand, I don't mind how it looks because it wasn't made in a factory by a machine...lol

Thank you very much for your views and kind comments. HMM!

Whenever I am afield or outdoors, there steals over me the acute consciousness that I am confronted on every hand by the superb workmanship of my Father. It is as if every tree, rock, river, flower, mountain, bird, or blade of grass had stamped upon it the indelible label, "Made by God." Is it any wonder that in a simple yet sublime sense of devotion, respect, and reverence for all life, Christ longed for His Father’s name to be hallowed throughout the earth? - Phillip Keller

Love those forever postal stamps, the price you pay is good forever and with stamps going up it is nice to have a few hundred laying around.

Thanks to Macro Mondays I found out why Italian vinyl ist always stamped: it's the SIAE stamp - Società Italiana Autori Editori, the Italian association of authors and publishers.

Macro Monday challenge "Stamp". I bought this stamp years ago to use with my artwork. Great challenge since I hadn't thought about using stamps for a long time. Will give them a try now!

A small 'ideas' notebook that I always have to hand. It has a leather case stamped with a maker's mark.

The case has a beaten copper panel on the front, and was hand-made by my metalsmith friend Laurie. It was an adventure into working with leather and metals together.
