empty wood train of TX Logistik Sverige at Eslöv. Aftr loading it will depart for Fliskär. Forst is TMX 1042 leased from Svensk Tagkraft AB, second is 185 704 leased from Railpool.
Twice a week Baneservice Sverige haules a sand train Halmstad - Limmared under contract with Green Cargo. The sand is going to the Ardagh glas production plant in Limmared. Baneservice is using the recently overhauled TMY 1111 for this train. It is owned by Svensk Tagkraft AB (STAB). it lost its original EMD-motor several years ago when it was replaced by a Cummins-motor. on the picture the loaded sand train 60064 to Limmared east of Forsheda.
The Ponderosa Pine Needles were up to their old tricks again this year, trying to stab the flowers on their way to the ground.
Naast de sanditetreinen en de verhuur van loccen voor goederentreinen, komen de loccen van Svensk cook in actie met werkmateriaal. Zo werd Värnamo de afgelopen weken vernieuwd, waarvoor ze het een en ander aanvoerden. Op 29 september bracht Ma 876 een kraan en wagens met wisseldelen over van Örebro naar Nässjö, vanaf waar bolle neus TMX 1012 achterop de trein verder zou rijden naar Klevshut. De Ma is liefst 70 jaar terug gebouwd en is daarmee zelfs nog ouder dan de ruim 60 jaar oude TMX bolle neuzen. Het stuk tussen Hallsberg en Stenkumla wat hier gebruikt wordt, moet over een jaar of vijf vervangen worden door een dubbelsporig tracé. Een kastje werd achteraf weggepoetst.
Apart from running the anti-slip trains and hiring locos to freight operators, the Svensk Svensk Tågkraft locos can also be seen with material for maintenance works. For example, during the last weeks, the area around Värnamo was rebuilt. On September 29th, Ma 876 brought a crane and wagons with switch parts from Örebro to Nässjö, from where roundnose TMX 1012 on the rear would bring the train to Klevshut. The Ma was built in 1954 and is therefore even older than the TMX roundnoses from the beginning of the 60s.

Sandhill Cranes
Monte Vista NWR, Monte Vista, CO
Met een uit Noorwegen afkomstige intermodale trein bestaande uit Bring-trailers passeert STAB-loc 1038 de aansluiting net buiten Månsarp en rijdt hier de lijn op richting Torsvik. Na aankomst in Torsvik loopt de bolle neus om en duwt de set naar de terminal.

This is the first time I've posted this particular "crane dance" behavior where the crane pulls up vegetation and jumps at extreme angles. The identification comes from my "Sandhill Crane Display Dictionary", a must have item for all Sandhill Crane admirers.
