Actually it's much more likely to be a squint photographer.

If you squint you can imagine that there isn't a city down there hell bent on destroying itself through the pursuit of profit, ego and ideology. Here the cranes servicing the new high rise gods aren't visible. Nor is the ironic destruction of Northbourne Avenue's trees under the ideological direction of a greens controlled minority government. What is an avenue without trees? A road? A tramway perhaps? Or just an eyesore? Before this tower was built there were two TV transmission towers on Black Mountain. They were ugly. Yet the Luddites opposed the change. I knew one of the imbeciles who super-glued the locks on the construction compound. Like that would stop the works! This tower is not the demon it was said to be. Yet I suspect the present rampage will not end as well. The Luddites were wrong. So is the lack of compassion driving the hasty desire to become a "real city".

One eye open, one eye shut.
