So, we went back to The Bull's Head tonight, to celebrate my eldest daughter's 15th birthday! They grow up too fast!

It was a busy week with lots going on. Including a visit at the cabin with my cousin and her two dogs Igor (on left of frame) and Athena (right of frame). Here is Daniel leading a puppet show for the 5 dogs. If you call telling stories with dog cookies a puppet show.
Igor is a 1.5 year old female rescue from northern Saskatchewan. Athena is a younger rescue (about 6 months old) that she just rescued under 2 months ago.
The dogs meeting was a bit chaotic at first but with time everyone found their rhythm. Especially once Athena found Bruno's large collection of squeaky toys.
Our kids (especially Daniel) were in heaven with the 5 dog visit. Especially Daniel who showed Igor and Athena the value of a good hang out in the hammock. A fun afternoon for all.
And no, this is not a drone shot. The POV is by shooting from above on the second story deck.
And one last note - Bruno did not get fat. That's just all his luxurious coat folding around him when he sits down.
It already feels like Summer.
- It's supposed to get up to 94 degrees today (That's a lot for Oregon).
- It's beautiful ALL week.
- I have exactly 1 final left on Wednesday, and most of my time from now until then will be studying my butt off for it.
And to celebrate, here's a beautiful outdoor shot featuring some legit BA and EB minifigure parts as well as some BA BA ModCom.

BrickWorld Chicago is a wrap! We're all super sad that its over but I can easily say this was the best year yet! Met some amazing builders I've admired for years, hung out with friends I havent seen in a while and was nominated for 4 awards including BrickWorld Master.
This was also the first year that I lead a round table that included alot of females in the LEGO Community. We talked about how to stand out from the boys in a male dominant hobby; the challenges of being a female at a major event like BrickWorld and how to overcome it. I also led the first Painting class where we painted pictures of minifigures on canvas! Its been crazy busy the past few days and we've all barely slept but it was well worth it!

Fun Fact:
Viking FK’s last league title before this triumph was in 1991. That year, the club also celebrated its 100th anniversary – making this 2025 victory a symbolic milestone after decades of waiting.
2015 hasn't been the best year for the doll community, but let's hope that 2016 can bring new light to this community and make it active again (probably not, but we can hope). However, I am pleased with how I improved this year and proud of a lot of the work (not all) I did.

My eldest daughter went to a hair salon for the very first time. She's lucky to have a gym-coach, who also happens to be a hair stylist! So, we took the chance this evening to go for a shoot!
...so, her little sister decided to get in on the act!
My wife and I decided to treat all our children to this really nice pub, "The Bull's Head', which serves some of the most delicious food! It was our first time to go there, and we absolutely loved it!
We'll definitely be making a return in the near future!
