Another regular, and quite the survivor as he seems to have avoided the local fox for a couple of years now!
it's that 13 hour shift day again today so here is another from yesterday - I love this as you can actually see the gathering of the pollen
dashed up to the meadow today to - well, I went to look for fungi - found none but caught this Small Copper....looking a little worse for wear....but enjoying some of his last nectar
A tricky one as I had to go shopping to get some bits for a short break I may or may not be going on....but popped to the park and saw this Jersey Tiger moth resting under all the leaves
These Bluebells were amongst acres of drifts growing in the woods at Muncaster Castle, last week in the Lake District
Named by @ncguk on Twitter, Vera (probably formerly Bertram the She Squirrel - many squirrels about) sat long enough on our garden fence for me to capture her staring at me, as I was at her.
It's not the best quality photo but it's adequate enough to see how very pretty and how very pregnant she is. Aw, frankly.
