This young Sparrowhawk alighted on the garden fence just as the Sun was setting. What a panic to get my zoom lens out of its case and attached to the camera!

I have been enjoying plenty of gardening during lockdown. Its been great to see the pollinators enjoying it too. This photo was taken by myself in Althorne Essex.
My garden bird numbers have been lower than usual. So, as per Packham et al, I thought I would experiment with repositioning my bird feeders. I looked out the window this morning to see if it had worked, and it would seem the dilemma is not due to feeder positioning.
I quite like this image, purely because it kinda reminds me of a scene from wildlife documentary in the Serengeti....I do not know why, but it does?
