Bright green Lamb's Ear plants pop out in the spring, and this one is soaking wet from a recent spring shower. This picture was taken on Sope Creek in the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area in Atlanta, Georgia.

All five Cygnets still doing well, and just before this photo taken, they were all asleep including their mother, on the river bank. Then suddenly a hoot from down the river and all their heads came up and excitement was in the air .... it was the father returning from somewhere. These two were mimmicking each other in an up and down motion almost trying to out do one another.

We visited Ynys Hir RSPB where BBC Springwatch is currently being filmed. Excellent reserve. Quick iphone pano. Proper pics to come......
