Today was exceptionally beautiful. Our home is situated so that we don't have a great view of either sunrises or sunsets. This morning, however, as I drank early morning coffee, suddenly the front of our house turned pink. Looking toward the East, I saw a magnificent sunrise, such a view as is uncommon from our windows.
The afternoon sky was of splendid blue with mounds of soap-suds clouds. Jerry and I walked the path that led through the Heaps Peak Arboretum. The sights were no less than breath-taking

For the Utata Weekend Project: Take A Seat
At my friend Lauri's house yesterday... we went over for some fantastic outdoor play after a very chilly few weeks of "spring." Lunch and gal time was good too!

This is my first candid of strangers this year. I just thought the little old guy was so cute. I also like that both of these people's hair were very white. Just as I was going to take their photo, the lady in blue turned around and looked at me so I jerked my camera to the left to pretend I wasn't taking their picture. As soon as she turned around I snaped this shot. :o)

The sun setting thru the cloud cover. The high clouds have enhanced this evening's sunset display by adding fiery warm colors to the sky, especially near the horizon. This marked the end of anther very warm day here. Pic taken from up at The Point Church in San Jose, CA. It was another very warm day this day with afternoon highs reaching into the lower 90s for our area. We were forecast to get cooler weather by the weekend, finally getting into the more comfortable temps. No rain in the forecast, unfortunately. So glad it's finally the weekend once again!
