Spirea (Spiraea) bush. The plant is frequently used as an ornamental. The flowers are quite small, but they grow in bunches.

Thank you for looking. Isn't God a great artist?

Spirea is a bush, a nice ornamental. The flowers are quite small. As with other members of the rose family, the petals are separate from each other.

Thank You for Visiting My Gallery, Favs, Comments.

Spirea (aka spiraea) flowers are small. But they, like other members of the rose family, have separated petals, 5 per flower (some roses have petals in multiples of 5).

Thank you for looking! Isn't God a great artist?

Spirea is a common ornamental plant, appearing as a small bush. As you can see, there are lots of little flowers. This is a member of that large family, the Rosaceae.

I think that’s what it is, my dad isn’t around to advise me any more. I have about 6 of these bushes and they are gorgeous!

from my garden...

I took a small clump of this bush from my mother's house when we moved into our house in 1988... it is now huge and every year covered in white!!

We had a few moments of sunshine today which I used to take a photo of the last leaves of a spirea bush in my garden. These leaves look great in Autumn when they have a vibrant red /orange colour. On sunny days the whole bush seems to be on fire.

I haven't had time to identify this fly. Any ideas?
