WARRIOR OF THE LAND
If you insist that your home
is not here with us then find
the right place to pitch your tent
and dwell with your people.
Permission is given to the one
whose ear is willing to contain
and hold the truth to stand tall
and get the crown for himself,
for many warriors are willing
to die for it.
Go for it the warrior of the land,
the man of war and the right hand
of the king.
Your strength is of the spirit,
mightier than the lion,
they speak of your strength,
your people salute you.
Stand out of the crowd,
you who are called to partake
in the regimen of the chivalry knights
of the chosen ones.
Find your place in the scheme of things
prepared for only those who walk in the
part of the divine light burning within them.
You truly belong to the chivalry knight of
the brave for you have shown yourself
worthy of such a high calling.
May you be blessed and protected.

On Independence Day 2018, the peaceful sunrise in western Pennsylvania is broken by the sound of an old school EMD SD70 bringing NS 205 west for Chicago. This has always been a favorite of mine, one of my rare moments where everything lines up at just the right time. Since this was taken, NS 2575 is no longer on their roster after being sold to Progress Rail in February of 2020.
A dying spartan lays in the tender care of an unknown. The tenderness and care that is given to him helps makes his passing from one world into another. So stranger who is passing by, go tell the spartans that here we lie, obedient to the law.

I haven't seen this done before, figured I'd give it a try. Didn't have enough shields unfortunately (there's around 50 in there).
Car Ferry The "Spartan" - Ludington, MI - July 2025
This Boat is no longer in service. However The Badger still makes the crossing to Wisconsin every day carrying cars, train cars, and passengers.
A spartan cab SD70 leads P16 south as it eases onto the single track at Cagle on the Piedmont Division. This train runs the Commerce Branch to Lula, just north of this location, where the line joins the Piedmont Division. It then terminates at Gainesville, the "Chicken Capital of the World", works the yard, then returns north to Commerce as P15.
Well, I'll go ahead and say I loved doing this. Halo used to be one of my favorite franchises, and making a Spartan using this sculpt made my day. I got it from Josiah, aka Brickzalive, I belive Pecovam made it. First off huge thanks to Billy, KJ, and Josiah. They all helped me with making this at BFAL. I painted the Fig using Apple Barrel and Citadel paints. The shotgun is a painted BA. KJ taught me many good ways to weather weapons, so a huge thanks to him.
The Army Aviation Heritage Foundation - Southwest Chapter's UH-1H s/n 70-16315, wearing the markings of the 190th Assault Helicopter Company 'Spartans' approaches a landing zone at Fountain Park in Fountain Hills, AZ. The Huey was one of several helicopters on display at the 2025 Concourse in the Hills event in Fountain Hills.
A few years ago I got this picture of a beautiful Spartan Plane landing at the Half Moon Bay Airport.
I just had to get a picture up of these flesh Spartans I made. Always was a fan of the original minifig and wanted to get some made like this. Took some time to acquire the necessary parts for them (some might say the yellow ones are better :P no), but I'm happy to have a nice batch. Now to figure out what MOC to build for all of them...
If you like these minifigs, consider tapping the fave button ever so slightly and if you’re feeling like doing a bit extra, follow me here. Thanks!

...they're just missing in action
Master Chief, John, Spartan, Sierra 117. The man went by many names, and was known mostly for his bravery whilst fighting the Covenant and Flood forces. A fight that lasted years, was the most well known in the history of humankind. After the fight was finished, the Chief disappeared after detonation of a Halo ring, and was never seen again.
But Spartans never die, they’re just missing in action…
Inspired by the final cutscene in Reach.
Most likely on their way out with the latest arrivals from Fort Worth, some former Oakway SD60's lead CN train L51591 strolls through the neighborhoods of Griffith, IN on the way to Markham Yard.
Raven's commission is finished. He wanted a Halo 5 Copperhead Spartan in cyan blue and lime green, and I did my best to deliver. Your package is going out tomorrow, buddy!
Please excuse the outdated pistol paintjob. It's from almost exactly 4 years ago. That was modeled on the Halo 3 pistol, but I have a brand-new Halo Reach pistol mod coming very soon. It's barely a piece of Brickarms anymore...
On I go to casting the rest of the Copperhead sets for you painters out there!

What's going on everybody?
I apologize for not uploading a NEW custom in a while, but I hope I'll be able to upload a lot more in the weeks to come.
So... my third character from my SB-Verse Bat Family is completed. I had a lot of fun making her. I was inspired to make her when I saw this picture. I loved the design, so I decided to base mine on the one in the picture. But I changed it up a little, by adding red detailing. I'm really happy with the way the red/gold combo turned out! I sanded the the hair piece a little so you can see her right eye better. I also slimmed down her sides and exposed her shoulders to give her a more feminine look. The sword holder is made out of paper. The entire figure was painted by me, with a mix of toothpicks and high-detail brushes. I was going for a League of Assassins/Shadows look, which is what I got. Overall, even though there are obvious flaws, I'm still very happy with the way she came out!
Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
P.S. Like my Last of Us pictures, the background editing is inspired by Logan Fulford's editing technique, so credit to that goes to him.
P.P.S.I also apologize if the picture is a dark. I had some lighting issues, and the editing made it a little darker.
P.P.P.S. The next SB-Verse figures will probably be Oracle, Killer Croc, Scarecrow and Penguin. Things might change, but I'm pretty sure those will be next.
I can't estimate the number of hours that went into what you see here in this photo, but it was quite a lot! It was definitely worth every minute though.
Each Spartan was done using slightly different techniques over a period of time, so they have a variety of styles. Although they are pictured here as a group, they were meant to be unique as far as the general appearance and methods used to paint them.
Went to watch the Halton Spartans yesterday afternoon. This was my first time having a go at sports photography so overall I'm happy with the results.
First off, I'm sorry if the picture is kinda blurry, I just couldn't get the camera to focus right. :/
Anyway, in between rehearsals for Shrek, I made this. I know he's kinda simple, but I really like the way he came out. I tried a few new things that no one else has. There is a face on the rocket in the RPG but you can't really see it in this picture. I painted the face and the torso is a normal Joker torso, but I painted the orange vest green. The hat is a modified BrickWarriors accessory. The RPG is a BrickArms weapon.
Thanks for looking! :D
The snow-capped Tianshan Mountains loom in the background as JS Class locomotive 8358, top and tail with 8366, heads an empty coal train to the Er Jing colliery across the spartan landscape on the fringes of the Gobi Desert. The mountains are an extensive range and the highest peak is Jengish Chokusu, at 24,406 ft. Sandaoling, Xinjiang Province, China.
