Atlantis launch Pad

The Shuttle is on display in a cheap warehouse (though apparently on an elaborate earthquake-proof mount) - there were models of how they hope to eventually display it, upright in launch position including external tank and SRBs.

This was the last shuttle launch we saw from the Space Center Grounds... I saw her on the launch pad from the beach at KSC before that launch, an angle most people don't get. It was moving to see her that close, less then six feet from her nose. Sad that she will never fly again....
