A slight deviation from my normal wildlife photography, but this was such an impressive sight I had to post!!!
Really cool space shuttle landing simulator app for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. It only covers the last 5 minutes of a shuttle flight (approach and landing) but it has lots of options and it's only $1.99. Check out www.f-sim.com/test2/ - also my blog post: flyingsinger.blogspot.com/2010/12/ipod-shuttle.html

This is in a Museum in Hutchinson, KS, which has a very impressive NASA collection, including the original Apollo 13 capsule. I plead ignorance to all things aeronautical, but after some of the troubles with the shuttle, can this be the way they really look? I hope that someone can enlighten me.
