EXPLORE: 20 JUNE 2008 - Lots more of these to post. Starting tomorrow I'll sort through the photos from the trip. It was a wonderful trip and we enjoyed almost every moment of it. The 4 hour flights weren't all that much fun. Thanks for your visits and comments, your favs and invitations.
After going through some old photos it reminded me how long it's been since I got some goods from Kerry Park. This was golden hour just before the color show. You could finally see Mt.Rainier after the last few days being suffocated by wildfire smoke. You can even see some storm cloud formations building behind the volcano.
I was happy to be with a lot of strangers, and we stayed in cold for about three hours to witness the coming of 2019. The fireworks was absolutely gorgeous and I wish everyone a good year of 2019.
i keep forgetting i have a flickr acct and i like it here.
this was taken on the first sunny day after 3 months of literal darkness back in march. all i remember is that we set a record for most consecutive dark days. i was so hyped to see the sun that day that i brought my camera gear (and telephoto) to work.
There are so many places from which to capture a brilliant shot of Seattle at night. Here traffic is a blur of white and red, but the twinkling lights of the city shine beautifully.
* I will probably re-shoot this one.
Went to Pike place Market in Seattle today with a friend who is visiting me from San Jose, CA. Just a guided tour turned out to be a wonderful photo walk. Took so many good pictures. This is a statue of an Indian Man holding some kind of weapon. THis statue has been carved out of a stone, but does not know exactly what type of stone though.
Also an interesting fact that I found out today is that the Pike Place supports only local Business, they do not allow out of town people to setup a stall.
