I rarely take photographs of myself so it's kind of funny that I chose a day where I had basically just gotten off a plane from Chicago to Edinburgh without sleeping (The day before,, mind you, I had my first endoscopy and colonoscopy!), and instead of freshening up, I hit the ground running to get vegan haggis for the first time (It's actually REALLY good and I hadn't had solid foods in awhile!) and see modern art. Priorities....flying for me and not sleeping feels basically the same as the second day of a music festival when I have stayed up all night editing photos....which is what I was doing the weekend before my endoscopy and colonoscopy....I expect so much of my body and wonder when it's just going to say, "Peace out, I'm done here!"

Anyway, I walked into this bathroom at The Modern Two after seeing an exhibit called Women in Revolt, documenting the feminist movement in Scotland and England since the 70s (I just loved the sign If Men Could Get Pregnant, Abortion Would Be a Sacrament!) The colors here just immediately brightened up my mood and I instantly felt like I could walk ten more miles with 30+ pounds of my camera equipment, which I then did (more vegan haggis for dinner!)

I'm rambling. What I am trying to say is that I liked this bathroom and vegan haggis and feminism and colors.

The Mitsubishi SpaceJet is one struggling aircraft. The first flight of the type was in 2015, but since then, the deliveries have been delayed and delayed. Just before Paris Air Show 2019, the aircraft was called MRJ-90 (Mitsubishi Regional Jet carrying 90 pax) and was renamed SpaceJet for the International Air Show.

For now the aircraft has received about 200 orders, but it is yet unsure if the SpaceJet will commercially fly one day. Let's hope it will!

First flown with the Boeing test registration N1787B, this aircraft was delivered to SunExpress Airlines as TC-SNF in Apr-08. It was sold to GECAS on delivery and leased back to SunExpress.

It was returned to the lessor in Apr-16 and immediately leased to Corendon Airlines as TC-TJT.

The aircraft was wet-leased to SpaceJet (India) in Nov-17 and returned to Corendon Airlines in Feb-18. Current, 18-May-23.

The MRJ90, or Mitsubishi SpaceJet as it is now to be known as, first flew in 2015. It is the first Japanese designed and built airliners since the 1960's. Orders have been placed by JAL, ANA and SkyWest , with deliveries now delayed until late 2021 or even 2022.

Ever wonder what a military version of the space shuttle would look like? I never did, until TR came up with a totally awesome contest. Then I thought fast, and came up with this little ship.

I did a bit of research on the X-Plane series, but none of it really stuck, so I ended up going off my own imagination, plus the rather cool tail from the X-15, because apparently this shape is more stable at hypersonic speeds.

But anyway... it fits a dude up front in moderate comfort, sports retractable lasers, spacial mines and a pair of nukes, safely hidden under heat-resistant panels, and it uses Solid Rocket Boosters and External Fuel Tanks to blast its way into space, just like its bigger, more friendly brother.

(I'm not gonna ask you all to be super-critical on this, it was a fairly quick and leisurely one-day build that leapfrogged its way to the top of my build queue. Just enjoy it for what it is, a cool little fighter spacejet thing.)

Commander Randy Türein of the carrier cruiser Heinrich Jeschke went through the operational plan again, which he had received from operations manager Alfred Pütz. A task force of the Space Police was foundet to neutralize the Blacktron, which had transformed from a bunch of marauding gangs into a tightly run organization within a few years. Only the executives and their environment had to been taken out of circulation, allegedly there was a single man at the top who was only called the "Krasse Mann", but Pütz seemed to believe in several people behind this pseudonym, although pictures of him were with Welcoming ceremonies circulated during which "recruits" were forced to burn their clothes and put on a Blacktron uniform.

Lately, protection from their own machinations has not only been sold to owners of trading platforms of all kinds, but even well-fortified space stations have been relieved of all their raw materials and part of their crew with a real space station cracker.

Türeins eyes moved to the clock in his holodisplay, in a few minutes he would take a position with fully charged 80 tw LowpeakLASERs over the cantor crater, send out the space jets and lancets and get the encircled gang of thugs to give up, one way or the other…

So far for 2013, i won't build any more this year (except christmas loot ^^).

The long awaited appearance of the Mitsubishi Regional Jet, MRJ, in its launch-customer's livery.

This is the longer version, MRJ90, which is being introduced first; the design has suffered several signficant delays, and is running several years behind schedule, and has very few orders, and issues over seating numbers for American-orders. A shorter MRJ70 is also being developed.

The MRJ was renamed 'SpaceJet' in 2019.
