Sorgenti della Santissima
Fonte perenne che scaturisce dal massiccio calcareo delle Prealpi del Cansiglio. Vi nasce il fiume Livenza, in uno scenario di impareggiabile bellezza.
La sorgente della Santissima, nel comune di Polcenigo, è una delle principali sorgenti del Livenza, insieme a quella del Molinetto e del Gorgazzo. La sorgente è una fonte perenne e scaturisce dal massiccio calcareo delle Prealpi del Cansiglio; l'emergenza avviene in un'area talmente ristretta, che sembra quasi che le numerose polle si riuniscano in una sola grande bocca. L'acqua che sgorga vivace lungo una linea semicircolare, si raccoglie subito a dar vita al fiume.
Intorno alla sorgente sono presenti alcune costruzioni quali una centralina dimessa molto interessante, alcuni percorsi naturalistici lungo passerelle e la chiesa della Santissima Trinità, fin dall'antichità luogo legato al culto dell'acqua sorgente e della fertilità.

Well, and after the creation of the island, people came to it and started building houses and villages with their churches.
The sea was their friend, but at the same time their enemy because on the one hand they provided a source of income through fishing, but on the other hand the sea had its terrible quirks and she could rage like a raging rage and devourded houses, villages in short everything what got in her way and therefore also people.
And in order to avoid the seething desolation of the sea, dikes were always built higher, higher and higher, so that you no longer see the villages from the sea side, except for a small part of the church tower........

The holy spring is located on the site chosen by the Monk Savva (a disciple of St. Sergius of Radonezh). The skete and the source of St. Sava are about seven hundred meters from the monastery. The source is located on the Storozhka hill at the confluence of the Storozhka River and the Moskva River..The water temperature in the font - even on very warm days - is about 4 degrees. By tradition, dipping need with your head thrice..I did this and advise everyone:)

Schloss Moritzburg ist ein barockes Jagd- und Lustschloss in Sachsen, Deutschland. Es liegt auf einer künstlich angelegten Insel inmitten eines Teiches, etwa 13 Kilometer nordwestlich von Dresden, nahe der Stadt Moritzburg.
Das Schloss wurde im 16. Jahrhundert als Jagdschloss erbaut und im 18. Jahrhundert unter August dem Starken im Barockstil umgestaltet. Es beeindruckt durch seine symmetrische Architektur, die prächtigen Innenräume und die malerische Umgebung. Besonders bekannt ist es auch als Drehort des beliebten Weihnachtsfilms „Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel“.

Moritzburg Castle is a Baroque hunting and pleasure palace in Saxony, Germany. It is situated on an artificially created island in the middle of a pond, about 13 kilometers northwest of Dresden, near the town of Moritzburg.
The castle was originally built in the 16th century as a hunting lodge and was redesigned in the Baroque style in the 18th century under Augustus the Strong. It impresses with its symmetrical architecture, magnificent interiors, and picturesque surroundings. The Pierre Bremond House is one of the 11 houses built between 1859 and 1910 that make up the Bremond Block Historic District. The block was added to National Register of Historic Places in 1970, and is considered one of the few remaining upper-class Victorian neighborhoods of the middle to late nineteenth century in Texas. Six of the eleven houses were built or expanded for members of the families of brothers Eugene and John Bremond, who were prominent in late-nineteenth-century Austin social, merchandising, and banking circles. Of these six residences, all but one were designed and built by the Austin contractor, George Fiegel.
The Pierre Bremond House sits in the center of the 400 block of W. Seventh St. between the John Bremond, Jr. House on its east side, and the Eugene Bremond House, the house of Pierre's father, on its west side. Built in 1898, the two-story, tan brick house was the last Bremond house to be built. It is a subdued late Victorian with a low-pitched hip roof, a double gallery, and an unobtrusive tower on the west side.
While the Pierre Bremond House may be the least ornate of all the houses, Pierre's home was the most spacious. Renovated in 2012, the house is currently owned by the Texas Classroom Teachers Association, who also own the John Bremond, Jr. home next door that serves as the association headquarters.

Manzanar is the site of one of ten American concentration camps, where more than 120,000 Japanese Americans were incarcerated during World War II from March 1942 to November 1945. It is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California's Owens Valley, between the towns of Lone Pine to the south and Independence to the north, approximately 230 miles (370 km) north of Los Angeles. Manzanar means "apple orchard" in Spanish. The Manzanar National Historic Site, which preserves and interprets the legacy of Japanese American incarceration in the United States, was identified by the United States National Park Service as the best-preserved of the ten former camp sites.
Since the last of those incarcerated left in 1945, former detainees and others have worked to protect Manzanar and to establish it as a National Historic Site to ensure that the history of the site, along with the stories of those who were incarcerated there, is recorded for current and future generations. The primary focus is the Japanese American incarceration era, as specified in the legislation that created the Manzanar National Historic Site. The site also interprets the former town of Manzanar, the ranch days, the settlement by the Owens Valley Paiute, and the role that water played in shaping the history of the Owens Valley.

According to a reliable source, the previous owners of this home rented out the property as an airbnb. It was completely renovated from top to bottom and sold ready for new owners that would appreciate its beauty....I have featured the outdoor patio area because it serves as some very usable living space. As shown, it makes for a great garden area....and it looks like someone has already started planting some roots...
