We got close fast, close like weâd already done the hard parts somewhere else. Itâs strange knowing our lives missed each other for so long. Maybe if they hadnât, this wouldnât be what it is. Some bonds need the damage first.
The truth always comes out. When it does, the light doesnât soften anything, it clarifies it. Purr wasnât a coincidence. She belongs here, in my life, in my family, like it was always written that way.
