Photographed on 30 June 2014, from the 'Sporades Queen II' - the glass-bottomed boat - as we sailed between Patitiri and Leftos Gialos, on the island of Alonissos.
Yeah--you, windbag. Shut up. The air in New Orleans is hot enough without you blowing into it. Art gallery window. (Do you really call yourselves New Orleanians?)
Hmm..looks like this lil guy/gal is hunting for something yummy to eat. Very rude of him after all those french fries we fed him...lol
Ghost Towns in Utah, Nov. 2017.
Standardsville, Utah (Carbon County). You can see some reminants of life here.
From the ghosttowns.com website:
"The town started about 1912, The population was around 550. The mine closed in 1950 and by 1955 everyone had moved away. "
I am guessing this is the name of this area as it's GPS coordinates are closest to the one with the town name (39.702133333333336, -110.94051388888889). Again,t here are no signboards to tell you 'Welcome to such and such town'... no one lives here, though you somehow see dilapidated or falling down telephone poles in places and in the mountain you can still see railroad tracks, though it's hard to capture that in the picture. The run down and broken buildings and shacks often mesh in with the landscape, as they are almost the same color, so it's hard to spot. But, here we could see some buildings. There's also an old, large water tank here which I did not photograph. You can see some signs of roads or paths among some of the buildings, too.
Kateryn (in the background) is jealous because the purple dress could not fit her. Haydn is having fun parading her new dress ;)
Now I'm not sure what is going on....but the light colored cow is the mother of the baby white calf...apparently these two baby black calves are taken care of by a black horse? LOL...every time I go by these calves are by the black horse..and there is only one horse in with about 20 cows! Hmmmm???? lol
Someone is hiding behind my bedroom curtain...
Shadow combination from stored objects between the window and the curtain, discovered accidentally upon waking up one morning.
Halsted came to visit and she brought gifts. This a vintage Roald Dahl penguin with an excellent front cover and nasty stories within.
Someone at First Great Western actually had the presence of mind to get the London-bound HST to stop at Keynsham and Oldfield Park as there were delays and cancellations on the Portsmouth line due to a line-side fire at Trowbridge.
