Photo evidence of how a post turtle becomes a post turtle, they climb!

Just a fun shot of a Midland Painted Turtle trying to find a better vantage point, don't know if the view was any better way upp there, but I give it credit for the effort.

My digitally-edited variation of my art for black magic use and/or protection from loosing the power. This variation is for ice-cold souls and/or those who wanna keep the cold, clear mind. Sometimes it seems that feelings come to point and can replace the control, so it is a time to concentrate using rituals to ask wind and rain to help keep the being strong and powerful ;)

DESTINATION HEALTH: SOLVING HOMELESSNESS

This event is the first in The Commonwealth Club's Thought Leadership series on the future of health, featuring in-depth conversations on the challenges driving physical, mental and social health.

Homelessness is one of the most critical health issues of our time. Even the best care isn’t enough to keep people healthy if they do not have a roof over their head. A safe, stable home is necessary to thrive. Yet much of America is grappling with some of the highest costs of housing and highest rates of homelessness of our time. What can we do to reverse the trend? What haven’t we thought of? Given the bright minds and wealth of the 21st century, we cannot accept that homelessness is unsolvable. Join a diverse panel of experts and advocates as they discuss this growing public health crisis. Together we will explore new ways to solve homelessness.

solved rubix cube

Nothing worse than frozen fingers when taking winter pictures! I've been wanting to make these all year.

I was gifted this yarn (Rowan Purelife British Sheep Breeds Undyed DK), and it is wonderful. The pattern took just under 1 ball (131 yards).

The pattern is oKay. If I were to do it again, I would...

✩ not knit so many rows between the ribbing and thumb hole, as it's a bit long there

✩ Use the US 4's for the thumb, as the 6's made it really big

✩ Make sure I printed out the pattern with proper spacing between periods so as not to misread the decreases and make them wonky ^^;;

I will also crochet around the finger hole to tighten it, as it's a bit wide and lets the wind in.

PS

I love, what the vivitar did to this boat in the finnish lake in Kuopio - it was a nice shape already, but the wide lens sure made it look almost drunk :-) !
