Pack from That's you!?

I've had a cheap cube and a book on how to solve them for a couple of years, but never made the time to put it into action.

Grabbed half an hour here and there sat on the beach and I've managed to solve it about a dozen times or so today.

I still need the routines to completely solve it but I'm getting further and further before I need to remind myself of the algorithms each time.

It all depends on what you consider the solution.

I believe this is an original. Way north on Sheridan. I miss ya man.

I solved the Rubik Cube without having to look anything up for the first time today!

True, I don't know the algorithm to rotate the final corner pieces once they're in position, but there is a chance that their orientation is correct once moved in place, and so I got lucky.

Once I know that algorithm I'll be able to say that I can solve the cube - nevertheless, when I was growing up, the cube was seen as incredibly hard. Solving it seemed beyond the reach of many - it's actually not, it's a few fairly easy to learn algorithms which are applied.

Still, that doesn't stop me being insanely pleased with this!

Maurice sends "Be Yourself" 7c after only a couple of tries. Great day, great beer to celebrate: a round of Efes was given out.

Rubix cube. I still don't know how to handle the middle pieces of the third row. As for this time, I just got lucky.

Written in book, you see the algorithm written in a way that only I can decipher!

Quick 60 second image take for the Virtual Star Party hangout on 2013-07-28. Dark/bias calibrated, usually a simple DDP stretch.

this one was classed as 'difficult 'but I solved it within half an hour ( well it was the first difficult one I've attempted !)
