I took a walk in the woods to clear my mind. There was a light that broke through the mist and gave me solutions...

How many people can remember that red plastic container of bubble solution with the stick inside that you can blow through to make bubbles? This is thought I had when I rested my tripod on Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast.

The weight of the sky and all of its fabulous sunset glory was a perfect way to cap off an incredible day in the Pacific Northwest of the USA.

Society, solution

Environment, pollution

Controlling populations

Divided United Nations.

There is nothing I enjoy watching more through my macro lens than a film of bubble solution before it pops. The level of activity is quite amazing. It reminds me of psychedelic art during the 1960s counterculture. Groovy!

Excerpt from www.goderich.ca/en/town-hall-and-services/resources/Herit...:

North Harbour Rd., Compass Minerals (formerly Sifto Salt) operates the largest rock salt mine in the world producing nine million tons yearly. Salt was discovered

accidently in 1866 by Samuel Platt while drilling for oil. For many years extraction involved evaporating salt from a brine solution brought to the surface and this process continues on the east side of town. In 1959, the first shaft was sunk here beginning underground extraction. The total length of roads under the lake bottom but within the salt layer is now greater than the length of all streets in Goderich.

Forgive me for not being on Flickr as often, but my time is very limited at present.

I am sorry to be posting gloomy work during this time of year. We have to face this struggle head-on for our children's sake. I am not promoting violence, just a peaceful and reasonable solution. It is possible if everyone would sit at the table and dedicate themselves to finding a fair solution for all.

With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe, and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️

I came across a slew of small Kansas towns this past summer, but this one was wonderful and photogenic. Unfortunately, I can't remember its name. But I found this old Chrysler and couldn't resist.

In our earth-lab, a life form has existed randomly, thanks to the reaction of atoms of the ingredients which were already there, in the lab, for the creation of this life form. It has started to develop and expand on the earth, randomly. Later, after billions of years, it got conscious, randomly , but not all life forms have headed to the same direction. The evolution occurred according "the tree of life”.

Speculation:

Big bang has sealed the fate of our future by creating the atom based universe, like all the necessary ingredients were put in a beaker, in a chemical lab, to become the expected ( not randomly) chemical solution.

A life form is the expected result, depending of the time, of the existence and reaction of ingredients in a beaker.

Had a trip to the Wirral yesterday, calling at Ness Botanic Gardens, followed by West Kirby Marine Lake late afternoon, in the hope of catching a sunset. A few boats were still out on the lake but they all headed in, shortly after this was taken.

Residential block, built in 1926 to a design by Bureau Gulden and Geldmaker.

This block does have an unmistakable "Amsterdam School" appearance, especially due to the attractive corner solution.

Architects Gulden and Geldmaker excel in usually more sober designs, but they could indeed come up with expressive designs (amsterdamse-school.nl).

The Amsterdam School is a style of architecture that arose from 1910 through about 1930 in the Netherlands. The Amsterdam School movement is part of international Expressionist architecture, sometimes linked to German Brick Expressionism (Wp).

Summer is winding down, and my yard is alive with pollinators. Butterflies are passing through everyday and the plants in my yard- like the butterfly bush- are a solution for their need for a tasty solution of sugary nectar. For 125 in 2025 #88 Solution

Normally I chase this ginger Tom away but as he is doing a fine job of keeping the birds off my cherry tree, I will give him a free pass until August 🤔😉

Stay safe

OMG! I'll post a tiny solution for this chaos...

The Stronghold re-enactment group battle between the Normans and Saxons at Murton Park. Entry tickets to the museum are valid for 12 months, so worth a visit if you're in the area (just off the York ring-road) - but best to look out for events like this, which bring the historic "village" and fort to life.

Please see the previous photo of a Bucket full of Beetles.

They can produce 60 eggs at a time,

I will post a link bellow how to treat before they emerge,

www.farmandfleet.com/projects/how-and-when-to-treat-japan...

My Wisteria was infested with Japanese beetles,

I found great solution, bucket of water with soap,

They will never get out alive, just make sure the bucket is wide enough, I just hold the bucked under the branch and just tap it once amazingly enough they all fall in!

Please check out both before and after photos.

The two sticks hold aloft two strands of thick soft cord soaked in bubble solution, one short and one long. When the sticks are pulled apart a sort of hoop is formed between the two strands, and slight wind or movement can balloon out extremely large long bubbles. I would have liked to see just how long these large sausage shaped bubbles could last, and whether they would separate into a string of bubbles, or simply shrink into one gigantic bubble.

But as usual the competitively destructive children outnumbered the co-operatively scientifically curious :-)

The bubble surfaces shimmered with iridiscent reflections. Very hard to catch in a photograph, not sure why.

Photographed at the western end of the eastern section of Princes Street Gardens, just by the Art Gallery.
