The result of a late night of playing around to learn Solidworks. A fun example of the endless possibilities for design.
NOTE: I think the original size makes a lovely desktop background, though I admit my opinion is a bit biased.
playing with SolidWorks and PhotoView 360 to make a render. This is 559 1/4"-20 nuts and some lighting.
So, I think it's about time this happened. The title says it all, but I made myself an alternate account on Flickr. This main stream will now be dedicated to things I want the whole world to see, and the other photo stream will be used for other things that are more designed for my friends and followers to see. As such, they won't be added to many groups, so I might get a painful number of them blogged by explore. Hopefully not, but we shall see. :P
Some things you can expect to see:
Lego contest Entries
Random Lego real-life pics
Other creations that are subpar or geared for a more exclusive audience
Renders and render tests
Throwback Thursday Lego creations
Solidworks and blender creations
Sketching and art
Crappy phone pics
I feel like making a pseudo-public catalog of all my artwork that never reaches the mainstream, or doesn't belong on my main channel. If that sounds appealing to you, why not join Keith and give me a follow! Link is at the top and also here:
Thank you! I'm looking forward to this.
Working on my CAD final. Might still add some more guide curves, but I kinda like it as it is now. Still have to add the cockpit holes which allow it to join the frame, but will do that later once I know the exact dimensions.
I've been loading my designs into Solidworks 2020 and fixing any migration issues from earlier Solidworks versions.
Still have to add the Align logo but otherwise this piece is done. Holy shit the blade holder too forever and getting everything blended together.
Still have to finish the exploded assembly and render before turning it in at 5pm tomorrow. The devil is in the details. I think I finally settled on the cockpit color.
One for Andre. It's a Minelab F3 mine detector, modelled and rendered in Solidworks. I did it when I was working @ Minelab many moons ago.
Somewhat ironic that I'm posting this image, considering I just resigned from my job today! Hurrah for me. :-D
I don't see why people get so excited about moving into a "corner" office. Then again maybe theirs have windows.
Timelapse of virtutal oven build in Solidworks. It was helpful to work this out in CAD prior to the build.

SolidWorks Tips, Tricks & Tutorials
Ensuring strict adherence to industry standards, a CAD/CAM service can deliver SolidWorks CAD models as per the requirements, thereby reducing the responsibilities of your in-house design engineers. If you need an idea turned into a SolidWorks CAD model, then the CAD/CAM service is staffed to meet the challenge for prototyping and full engineering support.( www.cadcam.org/using-cad-cam-service-for-best-solidworks-... )
Basic materials / lighting render. Gold could be a bit less reflective, some scuffing, front illumination. Non-critical render.
An extremely powerful Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, SolidWorks( www.cadcam.org/the-advantages-of-solidworks-3d-models/ )uses parametric variables or mathematical equations to build parts from scratch. You’ll have at least some idea of SolidWorks models if you’re involved in design or engineering of a product in some capacity. For the modern-day mechanical engineer, knowing how to use the Solidworks efficiently is almost essential. However, the engineer is not the only one who can benefit from learning this skill.
Hi everybody
I am Ashraf AND I would like to introduce my self to you as a job seeker if you need my help
I am very very very distinguished in solid geometry ,At primary and secondary school , my records in it was full mark spontaneously without any effort from me in study it is my talent and it is the gift of God for me
3d modeling is my interest and hobby
I love to use solidworks software
so
If you send me PHOTOGRAPHS OF any PRODUCT and want a 3d solid OF it I can do perfectly for you THAT CAN BE MOVED BY online shopper to see the product details
Also if you have a 3d model or graphic & want to have A 3d solid of it I can do perfectly for you
The output format I WOULD PROVIDE are: SOLIDWORKS PART DOCUMENT , SOLIDWORKS ASSEMBLY DOCUMENT , SOLIDWORKS 2D DRAWING OF A PART OR ASSEMBLY DOCUMENT , SLDFTP FILE , X_F FILE , X_B FILE , IGS FILE , STEP FILE ,
ERR FILE , VDA FILE , WRL FILE , CERTIFICATE TRUST LIST , EPRT FILE , ADOBE ACROBAT DOCUMENT ,
U3D FILE , 3DXML FILE , PSD FILE , AI FILE , WINDOWS MARKUP FILE , CGR FILE , JPEG IMAGE , HCG FILE , HSF FILE , TIF IMAGE & MAY BE THERE ARE SOME FORMAT I FORGET
I would like to attach some photo of some of my 3d solids I draw purely in solidworks and I can do more difficult than these . With the help of God
P.S I AM EGYPTIAN LIVE IN UPPER EGYPT I WANT TO WORK FROM HOME
God bless you
thank you
