A fresh new garden jewel seems to appear every day in my yard giving me hope that better days are not that far away now!
During a walk along my local disused railway line I came across an old apple tree growing close to where the signal box for a station and goods sidings once stood.

Photography gives us a chance to see just how things are done in nature. This Bumble Bee has four legs out ready to land on the Coreopsis flower. They fly and land with such grace. This was taken with a telephoto lens.
