If you already visited all my gallery certainly you have perceived that I love nature, birds, animals, flowers.

The Itatiaia National Park is one of my favorite places to visit and so near to my house.

I have been in this hotel in the heart of the park some times, especially because the birds come in search of food every day, and they are very close of the humans. This make the photos a bit easier.

Well, not the hummingbirds. I make satisfactory photos only if they are perched :)))

Saffron Toucanet (Araçari-banana)

Fortunately I got a photo of him perched on the tree lighted by the morning sun, because in the balcony there was not enough light.

to summer, I say "hello fall"... ;-)

Some woodtextures of a huge trunk laying down in a park with the late afternoon light.

There were rotten parts and also damaged parts by a fire. The trunk has been an object of nature for a few years now, but it was from a tree of more as 500 years old. Its width is about 1.80 meter or almost 6 feet. This was cut down before it really fell upon somebody.

I don't really know what kind of bug this is. I thought it looked a little like a lighting bug.

Tomorrow Saturday, and I was going to the Oatmeal festival, but a friend called and wanted to come visit me and hang out in Wimberley. Tomorrow is market day here. Pretty much an over grown garage sale..:) But it's something to do and they have live music and food. Something to be said about that.

some sad news I have been expecting arrived yesterday ...

my dear Aunt Mal passed after battling cancer for many years ..

she had a good life and lived her entire life in Wales .. . she loved horses and farms .

when she discovered she had cancer she immediately arranged to hike the Pennine Way .. . this National Trail chases along the mountain tops along the rugged backbone of England and offers 268 miles of the finest upland walking in England. A once in a lifetime experience.

her energy and laughter and encouragement will be with me forever .. some special light never dies .. I miss her already ..

Some species of Agapanthus are commonly known as lily of the Nile (or African lily in the UK), although they are not lilies and all of the species are native to Southern Africa (South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique) though some have become naturalized in scattered places around the world (Australia, Great Britain, Mexico, Ethiopia, Jamaica, etc.). Agapanthus is a genus of herbaceous perennials that mostly bloom in summer. The leaves are basal, curved, and linear, growing up to 60 cm long. They are rather leathery and arranged in two opposite rows. The plant has a mostly underground stem called a rhizome (like a ginger 'root') that is used as a storage organ. The roots, which grow out of the rhizome, are white, thick and fleshy. The inflorescence is a pseudo-umbel subtended by two large bracts at the apex of a long, erect scape, up to 2 m tall. They have funnel-shaped or tubular flowers, in hues of blue to purple, shading to white. 45779

Some homes have better views than others... I was enjoying their sunrise view on this morning.

Some of the Ten Peaks reflected in a calm Lake Moraine as the sun sets. Never fails to entrance and enchant me when I'm fortunate enough to stand here.

Thanks for taking a look! Always appreciated.

Enjoy a wonderful Sunday and the week ahead!

Thanks so much for looking and/ or commenting, I really appreciate it and will always try to reciprocate with a visit back to your stream :-)

Some of my favorite times of year is capturing the herds of elk that roam the lower Buffalo River valley in Ponca, AR.

Our journey most days started and ended with us driving passed Kilchurn Castle, so i thought i would take the opportunity "as it would be rude not to" to photograph it over the three days of passing!

With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️

Some garlic bulbs still in the mesh holder! HMM :-)

Thank you so much for all the kind comments and Favs, they are very much appreciated! HMM :-))
