The Olympic Cauldron lit by The Great One (aka TGO), Wayne Gretzky, sits on the Vancouver waterfront facing the North Shore mountains where a lot of the amazing Winter Olympic sports are being staged.
The weather has been a little warm this year. Quite the opposite of last year when Vancouver was buried in snow by what we referred to as "snowmageddon". I guarantee you folks, It is a lot more fun this year. Vancouver has two snowplows and one is broken. Just kidding Mayor Gregor ;-)

A night of heavy thunderstorms melted much of the snowpack, so this biker got in a run while he still could.
I was at the snowcross races this weekend and brought my camera. It was super fun since I haven't been to a snowcross race in about 4 years. The spot for people watching sucked for pictures. It was only beside the one area of jumps and didn't leave me much room for different angles. I did what I could with the area.
